A new evil has made itself known to the universe. A creature known as Father Brain has harnessed the power of the Metroid species to be build a weapon of mass destruction capable of destroying entire worlds. Samus must launch an assault on the enemy planet, shut-down the weapon before it fires, and destroy Father Brain. To do so, she'll need her ship and a small army of genetically altered Metroids trained to break through enemy defenses. But will they be enough? Has Samus finally met her match?
