This is the rumoured games page, where you'll find those rumours. However, please please PLEASE don't take these games titbits seriously - the following games could very well NOT be in production, and SSNG hate to mislead anyone, but we do like to see what everyone else has been saying, hence this page. Again, don't believe ANY of these until they have been confirmed in the News Headlines

  New Sonic Game
Official: Sega held an annual shareholder meeting (May 19, 2002), in which Tetsua Kayama, Sega Corp's COO, shed some light on some exciting new bits of information and announcements. Besides other announcements, they announced that a brand new Sonic game was in developement and would be released next year, they also stated it would have a new title. That likely means it won't be part of the adventure series, no platform was mentioned as of yet.

Sonic & Shadow for GBA
Slim Chance: Rumored by someone named Toad, there was also some fake Sonic Advance 2 screens, click Here to see them. Obviously they're parts of Sonic Game Gear games and Sonic Advance sprites.

Chao Racing for GBA
Slim Chance: Rumored by someone named Toad, thats all I know.

NiGHTS Into Dreams 2
Possibility: Yuji Naka has been on and off on this title - he says it's one of his best titles and he can't create a sequel. But a few months later he decides to start developement again, until recently it has been no word of further development. This Picture shows that NiGHTS is shown bottom right on the list of future re-created or new games, which's Sega's Action plan of the future.
Update: May 2002 Welp, nothing. Nada, zilch. Don't cross it off the list though, as Sonic Team may be toying with our minds here. Unless Naka-san really did get bored of a remake and decided that it is best as a solo game. Besides, we're all happy with Christmas NiGHTS, right? *Gets shot*

Sonic Adventure 3
Possibility: No word of any prequel for the series, it's most likely this game will be created in the future since the adventure series is doing good so far.
Update: May 2002 Just recently there were 'leakages' of 'Official Sonic Team Screenshots' of 'Sonic Adventure 3'. Upon close inspection, we here at SSNG see these shots as nothing but an elaborate hoax, especially seeings as there has been no word from Sonic Team themselves, or Sega about the situation. SSNG will show you these fake screens as we get it. But until then, we can still dream about the next Sonic game...

Sonic Jam 2
Possibility: Rumored in late summer of 2001, this game would be a compilation. It was rumored that it would be a two disc set with every Sonic game until Sonic Adventure. Games that might be included would be: All Genesis Sonic Games, All Game Gear Sonic games, Knuckles Chaotix, Sonic CD, Sonic R, Sonic X-Treme, Sonic The Fighters.
Update: May 2002 We've seen nothing as of yet, but given the massive treachory Sega has provided by siding with the inferior Xbox, a deal which means that past Sega games will make it onto the big black Coffee Table (even Dreamcast ones like the original Shenmue), a Sonic compilation may show Sonic's only appearance on anything other than GameCube.
