The Story:
Day before Carnival Island's grand opening and Knuckles is in charge of watching over in case something bad goes down. Dr. Robotnik has set his eye on the Islands power source, the Power Emerald. While patrolling the far reaches of the Island, Knuckles returns and finds out his friends have been captured into the Combi Confiner, Robotnik's new invention. Knuckles can free one of his friends at once with the Ring power. Knuckles and friends must stop Dr. Robotnik before he gets his hands on the Power Ring.
The Gameplay:
Knuckles takes it on in his own video game starring Chaotix crew of Charmy, Vector, and Mighty. The game concept is that you and your partner (Which you control also) are connected together by an elastic rope of Ring energy.
The game plays like any other Sonic related game. Your goal is to reach the end of the level before the time limit of 10 is over. Rings help as your life saviour just like always and gameplay is side scrolling action.
Your goal is to help your partner move around the level as you do. The B Button is the Hold button, which when you hold it your partner will not move until you let go. When your partner is held in place you can run in any direction until your elastic Ring energy band reaches its limit. Making your character spin in the air can give you the option to catch him and through him wherever you need or use to get to higher places.
Scenario Quest, Training, and Option are the options at the main screen. Scenario Quest is the main mode. Training is an enemy-free island where you search for all the flower jewels before the time runs out, and Option you can customize gameplay and so on.
