  The Story:
Dr. Robotnik has come up with another brilliant plan, to switch Sonic's shoes with shoes that reduce speed. While Sonic is sleeping, his shoes are switched. Dr. Robotnik tells Sonic how to get his speed back, Sonic must collect all the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic must use his Spin Dash to save him from losing his speed forever.

  The Gameplay:
To play you must use your Spin Dash through a Sonic 3D Blast type look. There's a time limit and you can't jump or run, just walk or use the Spin Dash. Your goal is to collect 3 keys and head to the Goal before your time runs out. Every time you get a key, it adds more time.

The Spin Dash can be controlled by using the 1 or 2 action button and holding it down. A meter will appear showing how fast you can go, use the D-Pad to control where you wanna go and blast off whenever you have the correct speed. Press 1 or 2 to stop the spin.

There are obstacles in the way. Some obstacles are spikes, some make your time run fast, or some make you lose your keys you are holding. Like rings, when you lose your keys after getting attacked, you must collect them before they blink away (Disapear).

Items you collect are colored Triangles, they turn 5 colors and each one is a certian item. Items:
Green: Item - Destroys all enemies on screen.
Blue: Sneakers - Temporarily raises your walking speed.
Red: Invincible - Makes you invincible for a short period.
Pink: 1-Up - Gives you an extra chance.

There are four levels which are: Labyrinth of the Sky, Labyrinth of the Sea, Labyrinth of the Factory and Labyrinth of the Castle. Before entering a boss fight you'll slide down a long tunnel, where you must collect rings and dodge the obstacles that make you lose them. If you are damaged at the boss fight, you lose rings. You can't collect them after you lose them.
