Besides the class rooms you play in, there are also bus icons for field trips and Sonic icons for recess. Those two are also for learning and are outside activities.
At first you'll be in a hall way where there are two math room doors to enter, one reading, and one writing. Behind each door is blackboards on some walls and answers floating around. To play, you must run around and find each answer putting it on the correct blackboard. Robotnik might be around and if he touches you, he'll steal an answer. There are ten answers, 4 are around and easy to find while 6 are hiding in secret rooms or other tight spots to locate.
The Playground/Recess has two games, 3D Concentration and Ring Hunt. In 3D Concentration you must match symbols like Sonic, Rings, Eggman. It's a memory match type of game. Ring Hunt is where your in a flat 3D arena and you must collect the number of rings it says, be careful of the Badniks that fly all over, if your hit you'll lose your rings and have to start all over.
The bus trip is a zoo trip, though you never leave the bus. Sonic is at the wheel as you watch videos on animals and learn about their habitat, diet, and more information.
There are also Gumballs you get after answering questions, get enough and you can print out a certification of your achievement. There is also a two player split screen where you go one on one trying to answer questions first and stealing answers as well.
