Pioneer 2 completed its long voyage with the main wave of refugees aboard but just as they entered orbit and opened a communications link with the Central Dome, an enormous explosion occurred. All contact with the men and women or Pioneer 1 was lost.
Exactly what happened on Ragol?
New settings are the "ultimate" difficulty setting, where if you have lv 100 you can get into the most challenging with faster enemies and tougher bosses. Health-restoring monomates and dimates will have a greater effect in the ultimate mode since getting attacked will hurt more then in regular modes.
Tons more rare items in this version as well, with more powerful weapons, shields, and best of all Mags that are shapped like Sega video game systems from Mega Drive to Dreamcast.
Another new feature online is Go Go Ball, which is a soccer game that alows up to 12 players to play soccer online from special lobbies.
Online games now feature more options. You can play online modes only for people on PSO ver 2 or PSO, or both versions. You can also play Battle mode, which lets you battle other PSO Ver 2 players.
Other improvements is that Sonic Team is making sure there's no more hacking or item duping in the game. When loading you character from PSO to PSOv2 any hacked or duped items won't load onto PSOv2. A warning will let you know if your doing something of that nature and may ban you from the game for good.
