Players: 1-4

  The Gameplay:
Minna De Puyo Puyo plays almost exactly like Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. The object of the game is so your opponents side fills to the top with Puyos first before your side does.

The game has a storyline, though I can't read it since it's in Japanese. The story takes you through different areas, each time you clear an area (3 to 5 opponents in each area), a new area opens. In each area, you'll meet new opponents who challenge you to a game of Puyo Puyo. At the end of each area you fight the area boss, a tougher opponent with faster skills. He or she can come back from almost losing to winning as fast as you can say Bob Newhart.

There's about 7 areas, such as Castle area, Snow area, and so on. Stacking the Puyos in the correct angle is the key. Controlling them by switching the pair of Puyos from top to bottom by color to match it up to 4. You can also get combos. When you destroy Puyos, you'll shoot special attacks at the top of your opponents side. Your opponent has about 10 seconds to destroy Puyos to stop your attack from working. The attack will send clear Puyos that can't be destroyed until you destroy regular colored Puyos on top. The winner is the one who makes the others side fill up to the top.

The further the levels go the harder. Each area has new opponents, which will give you more colored Puyos making it harder to match as often as you did from the start. More colors like green and blue will appear.

There are all 1 to 4 players with the link cable. You only need one cartridge and at least one friend.

The Puyo series has always been in Japan and not over here. So if you enjoy it I suggest you import this for the GBA soon.
