Ever since he was separated from his family because of a massive wormhole that sent them all to different planets, Tempest has been living as a Hunter on Motavia, although he hasn’t used his Arch-Angel powers, relying instead on his skills as a warrior. He is one of the best Hunters in the Guild, and is known for his determination and ruthlessness in combat. Nobody really likes being partnered up with him, as he seems to be kinda grouchy and lashes out at people when he’s asked if he’s ever had any family or friends (one Hunter had his head driven into a wall – he was comatose for a month afterwards). Of course, he’s wanted to find his family again, but he can’t find a decent spaceship anywhere on the planet, until he discovered that he could open up trans-dimensional portals that could take him anywhere he wanted to (he had thought that he had lost that particular skill because of the wormhole), and so he finds a way onto Gaia, and onto the chaos that is enveloping the world.
