Garnet is the current Princess of Alexandria. Ironically enough, she has no royal blood, as she was adopted as a child because of her Summoning Powers. She plans on escaping the castle on the Prima Vista, the Theatre Ship that Tantalus uses, but doesn't expect to be kidnapped! At first, she can't use her Summoning Powers because she is too scared of them, but later, she uses them to protect her friends and fight against Kuja, the narsictic maniac out to destroy Gaia. She soon finds herself falling for Zidane, even though she tries hard to resist him.
