Megaman X Walkthrough

This was the first Megaman game on the SNES. We got a whole new series to play!. It does tie in with the old series, as Dr. Light created Megaman X and sealed him in a capsule for 30 years to test the reliability of his program. Also, Zero is a robot created by the evil Dr. Wily to take over after he's long gone. Zero carries the maverick virus and turns Sigma evil! We don't find this out until X4 before Zero fights Sigma. I like how in Megaman: The Power Battles, If you beat it with Bass, Wily says "I'm building a robot right now that will far surpass both you and Megaman!". Boy was he right. This game has some tweaked controls of the original series. X dashes instead of sliding, and can climb up walls. Pretty cool. Also, you can now collect 4 Armor pieces, each enhancing a part of X's body. They are found in Capsules hidden by Dr. Light to aid him on his missions. For instance, the arm part allows a more powerful shot. One of the coolest features in the first 3 X games is that if you get everything, near the end of the game you can get high power attack. In X1 you get the Hadouken, a Street Fighter move, which is performed in the same style. It can only be used when you're health is full, but it's a one shot kill on anything, even the final boss! X2 has the Shoryuken (Dragon Punch), and X3 gives you the Gold Armor which is super advanced. You still battle 8 bosses, now called "Mavericks", and go through a fortress at the end. If you thought Wily's final forms were tough, Sigma is nuts! All X games have insane final bosses except X6. Hands flying at you, fireballs, lighting, giant aliens, everthing but the kitchen sink!(Actually, I think Sigma's giant head shoots one at you in X4!) Megaman X is really a great game that's a blast to play. If you haven't played this, WHAT ARE YOU DOING READING THIS???? GO PLAY IT! NOW! Not to be demanding, but it's good. I give it 8.5/10. Cool graphics and great gameplay.
