There is no sport in which beer drinking is more interrelated than bowling. So important is beer that virtually every bowling alley has a bar connected to it. It is, perhaps, the only sport in which drinking beer while playing is socialy accepted!
There may be one or two bowling alleys in this country that do not have bars in them (probably in Salt Lake City). There are even people that don't drink while bowling. It's true! I, however, am not one of these people. I beleive in the age old adage that
Bowling is an excuse for drinking beer, Drinking Beer is an excuse for my Bowling.Perhaps the most common drinking game played in conjuction with bowling is the Beer Frame. Certain frames are designated "beer frames," and the bowler who scores the lowest on his or her first ball in that frame must buy a round of drinks for the rest of the team.
