11/22/01 12:18 AM:Happy Thanksgiving! How are yall doin? Bet ya didn't expect an update for a little while, huh? Well, I have some good news and some bad news. Let's start with the bad news, so the good will sound better.
The bad news: There's a very good possibility that 3rd Mix Korean V.2 (the version @ PPP) isn't
upgradeable. This is due to the fact that the Korean versions may or may not be run on a different motherboard than those of America and/or Japan. If this is true, then you can say g'bye to a 4th, 5th, or 6th upgrade. The only solution would be to buy a new machine. Time to start using the brain again.
Now, onto the good news. It'll seem much nicer since the bad news was so bad. According to a reliable source, 6th Mix has possibly arrived in Austin. According to my source, Le Fun actually already has the game board, but the thing is, they need to wait until a representative from Konami heads down there so they can upgrade. The rep is just so that if they screw up the
installation, the arcade owners and the game itself aren't screwed.
Basically, just a precautionary measure. Which is understandable. Just hope he gets here soon.
Now, all we gotta do is solve our 3rd mix problem. Any1 got any ideas? The board's still alive and kickin (if it ever was kickin, that is). Post away. Happy Birdday!
11/17/01 1:06 AM:Talk about a slow month...NOTHING IS HAPPENING! I'm runnin out of stuff to update. Anyways, word right now is that the owners of the spammed 3rd Mix machine still refuse to upgrade the thing. Makes me mad, dude...I just uploaded the Toonami fonts (which I picked up from Toonami: Digital Arsenal. Enjoy them. I'm sooo bored...Xbox came out yesterday...(technically 2 days ago). Big thrill...Last I heard, Gamestop couldn't pay people to get rid of the things. Meanwhile, TRU is sellin' 'em by the truck full. I'm not gonna use my money on X. I'm waitin for the Gamecube! Anyways, I'mna head off to bed. Late.
11/04/01 10:27 PM:Well, no Drumscape for Tinseltown. So I got rid of the Tinsel info on my locations. Oh, and my counter's dead. So I can't tell if anybody's visiting my page. Poop on my counter. ;.;
