09/24/01 3:00 PM: Hey, guess what, new movies. How many, you ask? 11!!!!! Yes, that's right, Eleven new videos! Can you say "major uploading?" I thought so. Enjoy 'em! Plus, I started noting which movies are having to do with DDR and which aren't. Hope that helps abit!
09/22/01 4:18 PM: 'ello, and welcome. A small flaw in my movies plan. I forgot about Mac users though! No problem, however, for I scanned the Windows Media Player website for you, and found you a version of WMP for Mac! Click here to get it. It's in the scroll box. I plan to add a new movie tonight, but don't have the time. So I'll do it later. Adios.
09/16/01 9:42 PM: Hey, guess what, my movies work! Yes, that's right, they work! Go look at them! Then, if you like, please, post a
response to the person who's playing in it. Go look and tell them what you think of their mad skillz. Big ol' thanks to David.
Onto other news, The GIA has posted 2 more articles about DDR. Slender Time 2001 is something that's more of an annual event. What it is, is the affect of video games on the human body when used as an exercise unit. Basicly, how workin out on video games makes you lose weight. Be sure to check this out, as it will be updated very much (or so they say).
But for other news, The GIA has also released more information regarding Dance Dance Revolution Disney's Mix for PSX. Go here to read it. Disney's Mix is scheduled to be released on 9/18/01, or this Tuesday, to be more precise.
09/10/01 10:22 PM: Well, here we go again. I found a permanent (or until he loses his job) home for our movies. Thanks to our very own David R. we now have a place for video. His company (Awesomenet) gives him 300 MB for his personal use. And he has very generously decided to donate much of said webspace to us, DDRCC.Net. I decided, to pay him back (since money isn't exactly my best feature) that I'll make him a tribute page. That way, you can bask in his greatness. Lol...Thanks alot David. I appreciate it. If you read this, please, post a thanks to David on the Message Board to let him know that the web space is appreciated. DDRCC.NET is a nonprofit site and also we're a very poor site, so we can't exactly be spending cash on web space. Thanks David! Now all I gotta do is get around to loading those movies...
09/09/01 2:03 AM: So much for updating video. I did, however, add some more locations. Now we feature some that aren't in CC as well! Thanks to my friend Kirk for scoping these locations out for me. I'm still in search of a good place to host my movies site. Anybody got any ideas? Can yall gimmie a hand? If you have an idea or 2, please, post it on the board. I'll be sure to credit you if I should happen to go with this host.
Oh, ya, speaking of video, we do have a few. But they aren't zipped. If you
haven't downloaded WinZip yet, though, you probably still should. It's good to have around, and also I think I'll be zipping up the movies for whatever host I decide to go with. Over and out.
09/05/01 6:50 PM: Alrighty then! Now we DO have video...but there's a catch. 1. All the files are zipped, so if you don't have an unzip program, I suggest
WinZip. 2. They only run on Windows Media Player, so if you don't have that either, head yourself over to WindowsMedia.com. Both are free. Now, it's all a matter of me getting over this sudden lazyness...
09/05/01 12:39 AM: *sigh* Well...so much for video. About the only way I can think of actually getting it is if I were to buy a server (I.E. a new computer, and I don't have that kinda cash.). I was gonna try streamloader and I even had some of my movies loaded to their site already. Then they decided to say "now that you're signed up, we'll screw you!". What's wrong, you ask? Well, you can't get my files. Only I can. Which defeats the purpose of why I actually wanted to use the site. Bull crap, man. Pissed me off...and better yet, they won't let me cancel my spam account! *Sigh* Just more junk mail to get, I guess. So for the time being, I don't think we're gonna have videos. That is, unless somebody comes up with a spam good solution. My brain's tired...I'm out....
09/03/01 9:07 PM: Well, the verdict is in. I talked to the Area Manager of the Tinseltown Arcade (now, what the heck was it named again?) and he said they are INDEED getting Drummania. Only one small thing...it's NOT Drummania. It's Drumscape. I don't remember the difference. Anywho, he told me *official news* that the reason they got rid of USA is because they wanted to upgrade to 4th Mix but their
distributor didn't want to sell them the upgrade at a low price [Read: Almost-Whole-Machine Price]. So, they got rid of it because it wasn't making much money. It's now off somewhere in Houston (like WE need it anyways...). Drumscape is scheduled to arive within a few weeks, and the A.M. promised me that as soon as he does get it in, he'll be sure to come inform us all on my message board, so be sure to read and post on that daily to keep up to date with that.
09/03/01 2:36 AM: Spam it, I had this really great news post set up for you all, then it decides to not save it. *sigh* That blows. Anyways, let's see if I can recreate the magic.
First off, we now own a message board. Just don't abuse it (I'm the only one who can delete any posts...fear my power! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!). Seriously, though, please follow the rules I set for it. I'd appreciate it. Also, please USE it...that's a biggie.
Next on the recreate-the-magic agenda, the Adult Swim premiered on CN this evening. My analsys? The Brak show, new epis of SGC2C, and Cowboy Bebop all kicked @$$. The rest blew.
Finally, I have new video. I figured out a way to make the old video work (look on the movies page for details) and I'll get around to puttin up the new movies whenever I get off my lazy rear. Thanx for coming.
