Welcome to the section on ANCNT history. Here you can find out how the group was started, what we're about, and what our goals and plans for the future are.

First of all, ANCNT stands for ancient. it is a group/clan/club that ANCNTLeaderZapdos (the original leader of the group) and one of the leaders of ~BrOoD~ made. He let Zapdos into his earliest group called LGNDRY short for legendary. Within 2 weeks, he promoted Zapdos to be a leader because he was so offensive to the group's enemies. A couple weeks (or months) after that, he suggested Zapdos make a group of my own because LGNDRY was becoming a DBZ group. Since Zapdos didn't know how to make sites back then, he filled out the information stuff and Zapdos gave him the name ANCNT to use. After that, it was his.
One time someone by the Screen name of ANCNTmooncat came into my chat room and convinced me to join the group. After a bit of conviceing I did and it's a move I surely do not regret. I was one of the more active members always on the board. I later became Vice Leader and helped update the site, and even organized a newsletter for the site. But after a bit, people were coming less and less, and Zapdos closed down the original ANCNT site.

A couple of weeks after the shut down, I recieved permission from the old leader to restart the group. I took up the task, and made a whole new site from scratch (with the exception of the hit counter, since it was under my account, It didn't get deleted and I salvaged it).I dedicated this site to Anime, Video Games, and hanging out; That's about it... the rest is history in the making!

Ever since I restarted this group, it hasn't stopped growing. We already moved to a new layout, with tons of new stuff to do, read, download, and play. In less than a year, our membership has practially doubled as well. We truly do rock- Anybody who doesn't think so is simply jealous =P
