Boots Upgrade: Ok here is the Boots Upgrade that lets you hover in the air for five seconds if you stand still, but if you move side to side, which you can you have to press right or left, but you stay in the air for less amount of time. And it lets you air dash. In the beginning you go down a water fall. Right before you go to the bottom part of the leval through a hole in the left side of your screen go to your right, you will have to jump a little bit to get in there because Capcom made it to trick you. Once you get in there there will be a blue upgrade capsule with the little legs right above the green cyinder.
Heat Tank: This little thing make your life bar larger. It is towards the end of the leval. There is a place where a blue web fire spiders and there is a wood like thing you can burn with both charecters fire attack. Once you burn it there is a Heart Tank. Just jump in and get it the little fire on the bottom is harmless. It's in the second truk you come across.
Heart Tank: It is in the place where you have to rush because of the big ol drills that you can't even hurt. It's right above you and you have to let it drop then dash your standing on it while it's falling, this it where you have to move quick. Once your on it jump to the spot where it is. And there you get it there is nothing more in this stage.
Note: In this section where X finds a Heart Tank Zero finds a 1-UP, where X finds a Sub Tank Zero finds a Heart Tank, where X finds a Helmet Upgrade Zero finds a Sub Tank.
Helmet Upgrade: To get this upgrade you have to go as fast as you can through the thrid section of cyberspace. It takes a lot of practice to get. Heck, it took me at least four tries to get it. Well anyway this thing lets you use your special wepons unlimited times, unless you charge them. Otherwise it uses them same amount when charged with out the upgrade. But it doesn't let you use the Nova Strike infinity times.
Heart Tank: This is the eaisest thing to get in cyberspace. You have to get a rank 'S' on the first section. But becareful to jump over the yellow spheres, even the ones that are barley under the floor. Zero and X's feet will still touch them.
Sub Tank: To get the Sub Tank you have to a 'S' on the second section. The Sub Tank takes in the energy from energy capsules that you don't use and saves it for later. To get the yellow shperes moving you have to shoot/slash them or Zero can destory them with what he gets from Split Mushroom, the spinning blade jump attack.
X-Blaster upgrade: It's in a vertical tunnel full of spikes. When you first start the second half of the stage, you will pass a bunch of robots firing thick pink beams, then ride a platform over a pit of spikes. As soon as you get off the platform, you should see a hole in the ceiling. I don't know how you're supposed to get up there, but I got there using the Web. Stand on the right side of the ledge you leap onto when you get off the moving platform. Face left, jump straight up, and at the peak of your jump, fire a web. It should attach just to the right of the left wall of spikes. Dash-jump and grab the web, leaping off upward. If you time it right, you should be able to grab onto the left wall just above the spikes, and from there hoist yourself to the capsule. This is the Stock upgrade, which lets X store super shots. As you charge up you get little super shot icons under your power meter; once you have these icons, whenever you press the fire button, you will fire a super shot and an icon will disappear.
X-Blaster upgrade two: There's another capsule just to the left of the first one! This gives X really weird-looking black and red arms. Basically, this is a larger shot that, when it hits most enemies, creates a ball of plasma that will damage anything that hits it. The ball lasts for a few seconds then disappears on its own. Note that you cannot fire normal arm cannon shots if there are plasma balls on the screen, but you can fire super shots. This is a great weapon for enemies that do not move. Note that you can only have one of these two X-Buster parts at a time. Experiment with them yourself. You can stay up with the capsules and keep running back and forth and interchanging the parts if you want. I reccomend the first one.
Heart Tank:
It's in the first area of stage. You need to get across the first platform that
gets destroyed by the pink beam...before it gets destroyed. I recommend that you do not
take the robot walker if you want to get this heart.
Armor Upgrade: To get this you need two things 1) The Twin Slasher attack from Slash Beast 2) The X-Blaster upgrade from Storm Owls area. It is right in the above platform where you find the robot walker. Get in the robot walker and jump dash towards it then jump out of it. When your on the platforom charge up your twin slasher and shoot the wall it should brake.
Heart Tank: Go up and to the left in the section where you must climb upward, you meet the first robot walker dude in this section. It's after the square platforms over the pit that shoots fireballs. You need to dash-jump or air-dash or double-jump to get over to the ledge it's on.
??? Tank: The game does not give this tank a name, but this one gives you 4 extra lives instead of 2 whenever you start or continue (just like the Spare Extra in MM8). The tank is after the first section of the disappearing ice slides; climb the rightmost wall you come to (that was simple). Use a fully-powered Rising Fire to get it (dashing off the wall didn't seem to do the job here). Zero can use his double-jump.
Weapon Tank: It's frozen in a block of ice in the section where there are lots of ice blocks (second half of the stage). It's up and to the right a bit. Just search around, you'll find it.
Heart Tank: Near the beginning of the stage, on the lower path, you'll see it above your head, sitting on a breakable block. Get it with a shot from the Rising Fire or Zero's fire slash.
Sub tank: It's in the second half of the stage (where you are on water). You need to dash-jump over to it; the dash will also destroy the blocks around the tank, so you don't have to worry about those.
Heart Tank: Near the beginning of the stage, under a ledge. You can't miss seeing it. To get it, don't jump the gap right before it; just press forward, and you'll drop onto the proper ledge.
Heart Tank: It's just sitting on top of one of the train cars; you can't miss it. If you destroy the car, the Heart Tank will merely fall down to land on a ledge there, and you can still pick it up.
