From Nightcrawlers birth it was obvious that he was different. He was born with blue fur, and when his mother took him from the hospital, she abandoned him because of his appearance. He was dumped in the river and was picked up by a group of kindly monks. He grew up in solitary as a priest, doing small repairs to the monistary. After many years, he had become known to the people of his village as a devil, and one night they banded together to hunt him.Professor stoped them using his powers, to freeze them. He told Nightcrawler that he wouldn't judge him for his looks, and he offered Nightcrawler to join the X-men. He accepted and joined the second generation of X-men. His first mission was to rescue the original X-men from a living island. After rescuing them, he stayed on as a members, and was a member of the team for many years, until he broke off with Shadowcat to form the team, Excalibur. Recently, the team has been disbanded and he joined the X-Men again. His first mission was to stop the New X-Men and the Founder. After stoping the lanch of a missle that would kill millions, Nightcrawler stayed on as a member. | |
