Greek Miniature Collection

Ah, some day the new model gallery will begin to get filled. Until then how about this as a teaser? One problem with the figures is once amassed they weigh a ton - enough that the pressure eventually deformed the simply plastic box I used to house them. Now I have a much heavier duty plastic cabinet (small enough for transport, high enough for pikes) that I lined the bottoms with some good 1/4 hardboard. I'd like to see that deform significantly. :)

One nice benefit of the wooden support is the slab of wood itself can be lifed out of the box, quickly allowing me to swap in and out what army I am actually carrying about. Since I was playing around with the camera (taking more newline photos) I figured what the heck. My hoplite tray was out so I took a photo of it. Note the following isn't all hoplites, nor is it all the hoplites I own (there are at least 2 phalanxes not there and 2 more waiting for paint - sheesh). But still this is about a hundred and a half figs. The light troops and cavarly have their own tray.

The bare metal in the background are Newline samnites waiting colorization.
