Guybrush Threepwood
Guybrush is a feeble pirate in love with Elaine, and constantly in battle with the undead LeChuck. Having recently searched for and found the treasure of Big Whoop, he has now been hexed, and was last seen trapped in the Carnival of the Damned.
Elaine Marley
The popular gorvernor rules the Caribbean Island chain of Melee, Scabb, and Plunder. She grew up around pirates, and is more than capable of taking care of herself.
LeChuck
The Undead Pirate's main problems are that he can't stay dead and he can't get over Elaine. Add to that a personal hygiene problem and a love of sadistic torture, and you'll understand why they never made a musical about his life.
The Voodoo Preistess
She is the one who helped Guybrush find Big Whoop in his previous adventure. Whenever Guybrush is really stumped, she usually comes through with the help he needs to figure things out. Sort of like a Tech Support line that sells shrunken heads.
Murray
Murray is a talking skull from a skeleton Guybrush blows apart very early in his adventure. He shows up at the most inopportune times, offers rather unuseful comments, and looks great with a melting candle on his head.
