The position of General is one achieved by a popular vote.  There are many responsibilities involved in the position and it should not be taken lightly.  A General's job is coordination.  Generals coordinate the different teams, set up events, manage inventory and supplies, and basically lead the guild.  They are the primary movers and shakers of the guild and as such take great pride in our achievements, as well as our integrity in the community.

A General must follow the Virtue at all times, in word as well as deed.  If any General is called into question he or she must submit to a hearing of the events and accusations before the guild.  This may or may not lead to a questioning of rank, but if the accusations are deemed valid, the General must submit his or her position of leadership to a vote of confidence.  If that vote is below 66% of the members present at the hearing, a new General must be voted into office.  This vote of confidence cannot be held without a minimum attendance of ten members, not including the General in Question and the Guild master.

One shouldn't vote a person to be General unless they feel that person is a good leader, and a motivated member of the guild.  Remember that this person is one of those who will make decisions of the direction of the guild when a meeting is not available.  They are expected to contribute events and coordinate hunts of more than one team.  Be sure you choose someone who is willing, as well as able, to do these things.

If a General asks you to do something it is almost certainly in the best interests of the guild.  Please do not take these requests as an order or an abuse of power.  They are here to help you have fun and make things better for you within the structure of the guild, but you must entrust them to do so.  That means that at times you will be asked to bring certain things as contribution or go certain places and do certain things.  You are free to not contribute or participate, but we offer, and ask, these things for the good of the organization, and to further your enjoyment in the game and the guild.
