Greetings. The following page is made to help you in your Role Playing days here at Expansion of the Force (EotF). Topics covered on this page are, in this order:

Chat Slang: (most of these should be known if you have been in chat proir to today.)

LoL - Laugh out loud.
Rotfl - Roll on the floor laughing.
Lmas/lmfas - Laugh my (fucking) ass off.
pic - pictures on the computer.
wav - sound file on the computer.
PS2 God - Dan.
@ (used in terms like "lol@") - at.
o_O ~or~ O_O ~or~ X_X ~ect...~ - symbolising facial expressions.

Abbreviations:

BIC - back in character
OOC - out of character
IC - in character
a phrase such as "slips BIC" - going back from OOC to IC.
EotF - Expansion of the Force (a rope play forum)
RP - Role Play
RPers - One who Role Plays; a Role Player.

Getting along with other RPers:

Sometimes RP can be frustrating, both for the newer crowd, and for the veterans. When just learning the ways of RP, please refrain from yelling at people when they try to correct you. Some people here at EotF - liek anywhere else - are real 'hard-asses'. If someone snaps at you, react calming. All yelling back will do is make an arguement coem up, and that just doesnt help anything. If someone is a continual problem, inform one of the GMs (Game Masters) of EotF, or post a tactful complaint about the situation (note - complaints stating "Tommys a butthead" or anything of that nature will be swiftly deleted.
