Mazda's first saloon car appeared in 1960 and since then the firm has had a reputation for innovation. It's the only company to produce a rotary engined car and reinvented the roadster.

Mazda is one of the smaller car companies in east city and doesn't have to much variety in their lineup. From the Demio to the RX-7 is one short list compared to Toyota. But that's not a problem, they've got the RX-7 instead of some filler cars. With about the same horsepower as a Skyline, the RX-7 should be taken seriously. With one of its cars in the special inventory having 557 horsepower and great handling Mazda doesn't need that many cars.
