Final Fantasy 9's battle system has been released! As in every other game in the series, there is a unique way that battles are fought. As you know, you will be able to use 4 characters during battle. Each weapon that you obtain has its own set of special attacks. You will also be able to use the relics (I think). If you leave a weapon or relic equiped long enough, that skill will be with you permanently. When choosing your weapon, though, you must choose a weapon that is balanced in power and ability, and that best suits you.
Also upon choosing a weapon, you may be faced with a turning point decision of some kind. You must choose your weapon based on what you know of it and on your gut feelings.
Final Fantasy: The Movie News
Columbia Pictures will be releasing Final Fantasy next year on the 15 of June 2001. The movies budget is set somewhere aroun $70 million! The back story reads a little somthing like this.....
"Set on Earth in the year 2065, destruction and confusion surround us. Cities are deserted, the population is decimated, and the precious few humans who remain must find a way to survive.
In this world, we face death as we part our loved ones. We begin to question what "life" and "love" is, and the philosophical defintion of teh "heart". After all in this world, science has analyzed life and death, expressing life as a form of energy.
Beyond the riveting battle scenes, Final Fantasy will take you on a journey of personal discovery in both real and fatasy worlds, drawing you deep into its characterizations and themes: love, friendship, dreams, adventure, life and death."
