The Collective Abyss is a PBeM Communtiy set up by a PBeMer for PBeMers. It is a world infested with Vampires, and other oddities, though focusses mainly on the Kindred. The players are good, they have to be, as they are held to high standards.

The point to the Collective Abyss is to give the players as real of a roleplaying world as is possible. Events will effect each PBeM. News will spread from one to the other, and eventually the entire Abyss will be just like earth, only the predatory Kindred are real, not mere monsters in fairy tales.

This PBeM community started with the simple, and yet entertaining PBeM called "Reign Of Nosdameous," which is still being played to this date.

"I have made this community to give those players out there who really like to 'become' their characters a creative outlet, and hopefully bring them some entertainment too.

The number of advantages is large. GMs will have a group of peers through which to share ideas, create characters... etc. This website will be maintained, and each PBeM will have a page dedicated to it...

The main reason for The Collective Abyss is to create a group of PBeMs. It is as simple as that. Hopefully, The Collective Abyss will become well known, along with the PBeMs contained within. Well-known enough to the point of people hearing about and wanting to join.

That is my ultimate goal... To create a PBeM which people know about, and talk about. Something 'famous' almost...
