How to download multipart files from newsgroups
using Outlook Express ver. 5.0  (by: Tony Hedstrom)


 Note: to view the next 300 messages, click on "Tools",
then click on "Get next 300 headers".


 Click on the first part of the file (ie 1/3). Wait
for it to finish downloading. 

 Then, while holding down the "Ctrl" key, click on
the second part of the file (ie 2/3). Wait for it to finish downloading.

 Then, while holding down the "Ctrl" key, click on
the third part of the file (ie 3/3). Wait for it to finish downloading.

 Note: All of the parts to the file should highlighted.

 Next, click on "Message" at the top of the screen.

 Then, click on "Combine and Decode".

 Next, in the new window that popped up, put all of the
files in proper order (ie 1/3,2/3,3/3). Click "OK".

 Then, another window will pop up. In this new window,
click on "File", then click on "Save Attachments".

 Next, in the new window that pops up, choose the
folder you want the file to be saved to. Click "Save".
