July 4, 2000: "Alex's Nintendo Zone" is started at https://www.angelfire.com/games2/alexnintendozone/
August 18, 2001: Months after being dubbed Alex's Nintendo Zone the name is changed to what you see it as now as The Nintendo Zone.
Mid August: With word of a new system known only as "Dolphin" The Nintendo Zone is running full speed to try and keep up with the demand for news!
October 23, 2000: Angelfire puts me in their Games category (found on their main site) and the hits nearlly triple. Thanks Angelfire!
For a long time nothing happens....
January 15, 2001: A new look! Nintendo Zone ver. 2.0 goes under construction. It would shape the Nintendo Zone into what you see today. The old one was sloppy, and you had to have a 800X600 screen otherwise everything would be a MESS! So version 2.0 fixed that with frame cells.
January 21, 2001: The Nintendo Zone Newsletter starts running! Thanks to List Bot.
Late Janurary: Reviews for games start being added like hot fudge on a cold day (?!?). As I get back into the swing of things. I start adding stuff and fixing broken links and images.
Early February: The Nintendo Code Zone is finally worked on after being up with only about 2 codes. Now I was promising at least "one new code a day!".
March 16, 2001: The Nintendo Zone Forum is put up by me! Giving NZONE fans a place to chat about Nintendo and Nintendo related stuff!
March 22, 2001: With the release of the Game Boy Advnace in Japan, The Nintendo Zone swung into GBA Mania!
March 25, 2001: The Nintendo Zone Newsletter gets a major makeover! I switched from List Bot to Bravenet. Now the Newsletter was in full color, and HTML format instead of boring old text.
March 26, 2001: The Nintendo Zone Counter passes 4,000! NZONE was now reciving around 200 people a week!
Let's see what the Future Holds....
Future Goals for the site:
*Get up to an average of 50 people a day!
*Get 10,000 people to the site before the NZONE's first
B-Day on July 4th.
*Get the Nintendo Zone Forum and Newsletter's member
size to increse a lot!
