Turbo Start:
What would a racing game be without a Turbo Start? To get it in WR:BS
you must press the gas as soon as the light turns green. You'll then start
the race with a full turbo meter!
Password Screen: Access all sorts of codes through the Password screen by going to the options screen and pressing Start + Z + X. You can find a few codes for the password screen below.
Ride on a Dolphin:
To change you watercraft into a dolphin first access the password menu.
On the password menu enter this code:
DLPHNMOD
This code will let you ride on the back of a dolphin in the Free Roam
mode. You can still perform tricks on the dolphin, but you can only do
backflips and barrel rolls.
Aqua Maze Track:
Successfully complete championship mode on the hard difficulty setting
to unlock the Aqua Maze track.
Cool Ocean:
Successfully complete championship mode on the normal difficulty setting
to unlock the Cool Ocean track.
Control Weather for Time Trial:
Successfully complete the expert championship in first, second, or
third place to unlock the weather conditions for expert, hard, or normal
difficulties respectively.
Hidden Tsunami:
First, select Free Roam, then a rider with a high top speed, or one
without a high top speed, and make it higher by pressing Z. Then go to
Dolphin Park, Look straight ahead and slightly to the left. See that island
in the distance? Right in front of that island, you will notice a circle
of red buoys. The trick is to get into the circle of buoys by leaving the
course -- before the five second Time Out clock runs out. Your best bet
is to turbo as you leave the course, do a trick to help fill up your turbo
meter while you're boosting, then hit your boost again. If you've done
everything right, the timer will disappear and you will find yourself in
your very own Tsunami playground. Have fun!
Soft Reset:
While racing hold X + B + Start to reset the game.
Load time action:
When waiting for a course to load, move the analog stick around to
cause riples and other effects to the water.
