>> COLUMN: "TNM Memories" by bAz

Hello again everybody and welcome to my TNM Memories which will be
filled to the brim with basically, TNM Memories!!. Well I'll start
off by telling you how I came to know about TNM. It was one bright
sunny June day in Glasgow where I decided to pay a visit to my
local Internet Cafe to check my email and generally search about
for stuff that I felt would be of interest to me. I booked myself
on one of the computers for one hour and started "surfing" the web.
I soon got bored checking out the same computer games sites that I'd
been to about a thousand times before so I thought to myself to
try something different. I soon got onto my favourite search page
and typed in "Wrestling+Simulator". I didn't think anything would be
on the other side of that mouse click but I was wrong. The official
TNM site was listed and I clicked to visit it.

When I entered the site I was confronted with a picture of the
programmer of TNM **GENIUS** Oliver Copp standing with Stevie
Richards, so I thought to myself this sim must be good. So I promptly
went to the download section of the site and downloaded version 6.2.
As soon as I got home I set the program up. What I was confronted by
was one of the best sims that has ever been. I had always been a
wrestling fan so I was completely hooked from the very start. I
then started up my first fed, American Hardcore Wrestling which had
me plugging away until TNM 7 came out..

1st September 1998. The date is still etched in memory. If you didn't
know this was the date TNM 7 was released and what a sim it was and
still is!!. Plugins, exports and such like were promised and they were
delivered (Brawl for All, Scaffold Match).

The things I find most enjoyable about TNM 7 include the playability,
longentivity and the lastibility, and also the fact that I can still
use and download plugins with relative ease on one floppy disk!!.

Thanks very much and they were my TNM Memories!!
