CARD: Wrestle Madness

Well hello again.  Here are the results to my Wrestle Madness
pay-per-view card.  Wrestle Madness, to explain, is a 64 man, one day,
single elimination tournament.  Okay, we all know its impossible to do
this sort of thing in real life, but then again, this is TNM.  The
winner of the tournament will get a world title shot at WrestleBowl '99,
the WWA's version of WrestleMania.  Enough talk, let get to the results.

Match observations:

A great tournament throughout.  Many upsets were produced, with the 
big one being Fastball knocking out former Grand Slam champion Chris 
Phoenix in the first round.

Even thought Ata The Giant lost a few matches, WWA owner and 
oil-mogul Abdul El-Habib paid off the refs in order for him to move 
on.  It was thought that Ata The Giant was the man that El-Habib was 
talking about in the New Year's Eve special about a corporate winner. 
He wouldn't be the guy, as the World Champion Iceman Dan came out in 
the semi-final match and wanted to hit El-Habib who was going to pay 
off another referee with a chair.  Instead Iceman Dan, to the reaction 
of a stunned crowd, hits Ata The Giant over the head.  This would 
eventually lead to a Hunter In Darkness victory.

The finals were all set up.  Hunter In Darkness and Ace Johnson (who
ironically, was this far last year) wrestled a tough match.  It would
end with BB MAF making a mistake in trying to throw the chair to Ace
Johnson.  HID intercepted and hit Ace Johnson leading to the victory 
and a title shot at the world champion at WrestleBowl '99.  HID is 
still undefeated and he may be for real, unlike some other guy who 
went on a big undefeated streak.
