Match observations:
Well after a couple months of talking about, we finally got to see our
greatest superstars go at it in some of the best matches of the year.
Surely a very memorable match was the exciting main event in which
Shawn Michaels defeated Steve Austin to retain his World Title.
Also, Triple H added to the gold count of the Kliq by winning the
European title tournament, which we started at the beginning of the
month, and finished tonight. He defeated Eddie Guerrero in a very
good match to end the tourny.
The tag team of Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit retained their tag team
titles tonight, when they faced the Road Warriors. The owner of the
WWF is currently looking to beef up the competition in the ranks of
the tag team division.
After losing to the same guy last month, Bret Hart finally captured
WWF gold by defeating the Rock in a ladder match tonight. And it was
one of the most exciting matches of the night. The other Hart
brother also was in action tonight against Ken Shamrock in a
submission match. Shamrock came out victorious in that match.
Overall, WrestleMania I was all it was hyped up to be, and hopefully
just the beginning for the World Wrestling Federation.

>> RONALD HUIZER'S LATEST PWW CIRCUIT RESULTS (18/1/2001)
==========================================================
CIRCUIT NAME: PWW
FED HEAD: Ronald Huizer (rhuizer@wirehub.nl)
CARD NAME: PWW Live!

The camera zooms in on the commentators table in a sold out arena.
Jim Ross and Ric Flair are ready for another hot edition of Live!
Ross: "Welcome to Live! ladies and gentlemen. Tonight we will
have more than enough action for you ! A couple of wrestlers will
make their PWW debuts tonight: Scott Norton, Billy Kidman and
Rhino."
Flair: "Scott Norton is one of my all time favourites. He is so
massive, you can't knock this guy off his feet easily."
Ross: "Well tonight he will face another big man, Tony Halme. Other
matches tonight are Cactus Jack vs Sid in a no-DQ hardcore match,
Kevin Nash will face the Big Boss Man and our main event will be
Booker T vs Owen Hart for the PWW Intercontinental Title."
Flair: "I am looking forward to Sid destroying Cactus in this
hardcore match. No DQ ? Count on Bischoff. The Force will do anything
to make sure that Cactus leaves on a stretcher."
Ross: "Let's get things started as we start off with Scott Norton's
debut against Tony Halme."
Scott Norton pinned Tony Halme with the Shoulderbreaker in 0:15:56.
Rating: **
Rob Van Dam and Chris Benoit battled to a double countout in 0:08:35.
Rating: ** 3/4
Ross: "A double countout ! Van Dam and Benoit were hammering away
on each other outside the ring and forgot about referee Vernon James."
Flair: "What about Scott Norton ? Tony Halme must be plain stupid.
Did he REALLY think that he could host Norton up his shoulders
for the Horizontal Backbreaker ? Where the hell does he come from ?"
Ross: "From Finland."
Flair: "Finland ? No wonder the guy has got no brains
(bAz: not my opinion :)). When Norton hit him with his Shoulderbreaker
it was all over."
Ross: "Mean Gene Okerlund is standing by with Booker T. Let's go to
Mean Gene."
Okerlund: "Alright Booker T, tonight you will get a shot at the
Intercontinental Title against Owen Hart."
Booker: "Well Mean Gene, it's about time that someone in the PWW
opens his eyes and recognize the talent of Booker T. I have been here
for six and a half months now and I worked my butt off for this
federation. I have stepped into the ring with every wrestler who
signed his name on the dotted line. I climbed the ladder slowly as
time passed by. Tonight is my chance to get the IC Title around my
waist and I won't waste this chance very easily. Owen Hart is a great
competitor and it's not the first time that we face each other in the
squared circle. Owen Hart, you will have to give everything you have
to stop me from taking that belt. Tonight the arena will rock to its
foundations and when the smoke cleares it will be either you or me
leaving with that belt."
Ross: "Let's go to ringside."
Perry Saturn pinned Billy Kidman after an Asai moonsault in 0:06:36.
Rating: *** 3/4
Chuck Palumbo defeated Rhino by disqualification in 0:12:14.
Rating: 3/4*
Flair: "What is Angle doing out here ! Chuck Palumbo had Rhino locked
in his horrifying move, the Torture Rack and Angle breaks it up."
Ross : "And now they are fighting all the way back to the dressing
room."
Flair: "Great ! Nicole Bass is pulling Angle's hair, yeah come on,
scalp him baby !"
Ross: "You're a sick man Flair. We have some taped comments from Buff
Bagwell and Owen Hart, Harts on Fire. Let's take a look at it. "
(Owen Hart and Buff Bagwell are standing before a large PWW banner.
They both have their title belts, respectively the IC Title and the
TV Title, draped over their shoulder.)
Bagwell: "See this ?"
(Bagwell is pointing at his TV belt)
Bagwell: "It's MINE. Chuck Palumbo, you have a pretty big mouth pally
boy. You were talking about me lying on the mat suffering from your
Torture Rack. You said that when the smoke cleared all I saw was
you walking away with this belt. Palumbo, I am no easy quitter
and there is a bigger chance of Michael Jackson becoming the
United States President than me tapping out on such a manoeuvre.
Yeah I saw smoke but the only smoke I saw was the smoke coming
out of your ears when I beated the crap out of you. So let's face
it, I am the new PWW TV Champion while you're playing around with
nobodies like Angle. If you ever become tired of playing, Palumbo,
just sign your name on the dotted line and try to get this beautiful
belt back altough that would be a Mission Impossible."
Hart: "To all the other tag-teams in this federation I would like to
say that just because Buff and I are having these singles titles
around our waists, that doesn't mean that Harts on Fire is out of the
competition. On the contrary, this success makes us hungry for more.
We know what it is to be tag-team champions and we want to become
champions again. Booker T all I want to say to you is that you will
get this belt only over my dead body. I'm ready for you !"
Young & Reckless defeated The East-West Connection when Christian
pinned Nagata with the Reverse Double Underhook Faceslam in 0:00:59.
