Empty Hallway

The cold breeze of walking away,
The echo of my footsteps ring
As you call me to stay.
I wish I could, ice in my veins

Now I am alone,
Yet still I slam the door.
Heart not made of stone,
Loneliness reigns forever more.

I loved you once,
And will again.
I turn to run from you,
Just to ease my pain.

Echoes of my fears
Ring into the emptiness,
Back to my waiting ears.
You're gone, never can I rest.

Forever alone,
How can this be?
Damage already been done,
Nothing left but me.

Ice and snow,
A little rain must fall.
I couldn't know,
Love conquers all.

I brought it all upon myself,
I've hit a brick wall,
I wish you health.

Cold winds blow
As tears fall.
Time's too slow.
When you face an empty hall.
