Where and when is this crazy thing?
When is it?
The night of August 19. The doors of the building open at 8am, sunset is at 8:11pm, the event starts at 8:15. It will go probably until around 2:30 am.
Where is it?
The Benton County Fairgrounds in Corvallis, Oregon. Several buildings in and around the site, notably the Auditorium and the Small Animal Building.
How do I get there?
To get to the fairgrounds from I-5, take Exit 228: Oregon Highway 34/Corvallis exit west until you cross the river into downtown Corvallis -- you arrive on Harrison Boulevard.
Drive straight for approxamately 3-4 miles until you reach the blinking red light at the corner of 53rd and Harrison. Take a left, it's about a 1/4 mile on the right -- huge white billboard on the right. Once you pull into the parking lot, follow the signs marked "VIP Check-In".
What if I'm coming from another direction?
You won't be. The entire world comes to Corvallis from I-5. But if you're coming from the coast, once you get through Philomath, you take a left at the stoplight at 53rd st (the new Bi-Mart's on that corner). About 1-2 miles on the left, with a large billboard that says "Benton County Fairgrounds."
How do I get a character?
Hit back. Then hit the link that says "I'm coming and need to get a character." Then you fill out a form. You'll probably get some sort of follow-up e-mail from Kurt confirming your attendance. Then you should get a character background via e-mail shortly.
Can I show up late? Or leave early?
I suppose. Just let us know in your character application and we'll take that into consideration.
Can I show up and watch?
OK. Wuss. We're still going to charge you $5 entry fee for the concert.
