Bunta Fujiwara

Well, Bunta is Takumi's father, he is the one who taught Takumi how to drive. He trained him by placing a cup of water in the 86 and have Takumi drive and but not spill it. Bunta claims to be the best in the past and he thinks his son can never beat him.

Away from his driving, he owns a tofu shop (which is actually the Fujiwara Home) and likes to read the newspaper. Bunta is a heavy smoker, probably about 10 packs a day!! Every scene that shows him in the show, he is usually smoking.

Bunta's friend, Yuuichi also informs Bunta of the races that Takumi is in But Bunta doesnt really care as long as Takumi wins, sometimes he would give advice to Takumi and even tunes the car without Takumi knowing before races.

Well, Bunta can be described in one sentence. 'I don't give a f*** bout you so just bring back my car and give me a pack of cigs'.
