Locations of the 36 Heart Pieces!
Here are the locations of all 36 heart pieces! They are all here! All 36 of 'em! Read on!. KOKIRI FOREST -As a kid, go into the Lost Woods with the Ocarina equipped. Once you enter the Lost Woods, make a right turn. Stand on the stump and take out your Ocarina. The Skull Kids will ask you to play along with them. Say yes. Match the notes that they play. You will have to this game three times to get the Heart Piece (if you don't have to start over in a song). -Go into the Lost Woods and make a left. Stand on top of the stump near the Skull Kid and play "Saria's Song". He will then give you a heart piece.
-Go to the graveyard as a kid just after the wolf howls (you can use the sun's song). Go into the graveyard and Dampe will be there. Talk to him and he will ask you if you want him to dig for 10 rupees. Only have him dig if he's standing on a patch of dirt. It can cost a lot of money, but you get a heart piece! -As an Adult go to Kakariko Village, as long as you have the Longshot. Longshot up to the roof with the man sitting on it. Talk to him for a heart piece. -This heart piece has two ways to to get it. As an adult, you can longshot over to Impa's house (on the roof). It's the house on your far right as you enter, closest to the graveyard. Just above the little pen for the cuccos, there is a little platform. Fall onto that from the roof. Go inside, and there is a heart piece. Another way to get the same heart piece is to go to the top of Death Mountain as a kid. Talk to the owl and he will bring you to the roof of Impa's house. Again, fall onto the platform and go on inside. -As an adult, race Dampe. After the race, head into the windmill. Hookshot over to one of the ledges to get the heart piece. -Once you get 50 Gold Skulltula tokens, go to the House of Skulltula to get a heart piece. -In the graveyard, go back to the last row of tombstones. One of them will move. Go inside, defeat the re-dead, and get the heart piece. -As a kid, plant a magic bean in the dirt patch towards the front of the graveyard. Then, as an adult, go on the plant, go onto the ledge, and get the heart piece in the crate. -As an adult, beat Dampe under one minute. If you do, you will get a heart piece.
-Go to the fence by the lone bomb flower. To do this, grab the bomb flower and throw it somewhere away from you. Now hold the Z button, hold the joystick back (while facing away from the fence) and press A to jump backwards. It might take a few tries, but if done correctly, you will land on the ledge so that you can get the heart piece. -This next one you'll have to have planted a seed as a kid in the crater of Death Mountain. Once that is done, go there as an adult. Go onto the plant and ride it up the the big rock right next to you. Jump onto it and you can get the heart piece. -In this one, you have to enter the top of Death Mountain. Climb down the edge of the wall that is rough. As you are climbing down you will find a hole with a heart piece in it.
-As a kid, go to Goron City. Go down to the bottom level. Go into Daurunia’s room and light a Deku Stick. Walk out and light the torches. This will cause the statue to move around. Go up to the next floor. Grab a bomb (from the stairway) and toss it into the statue. Do this two more times to get a heart piece.
-In Gerudo Valley, as a kid, grab the cucco, and run off the cliff on the right side of the bridge. Head for the waterfall, because the heart piece is in a hole behind the water fall. Another way of getting this same heart piece is to plant a seed as a kid on the ledge down at the bottom of the waterfall by the cow. As an adult, go to the plant and it will take you to the heart piece. -As a kid, grab the cucco, and fly over to the ledge with the crate. In the crate is a heart piece. -In Gerudo Fortress, as an Adult, you have to make it through the Fortress and to the top. Once you are at the top, but the opposite side of the treasure chest, play the "Scarecrow's Song". You can now longshot over to the treasure chest which contains a heart piece. -In the Gerudo Fortress area, go back to the archery game. If you score over 1,000 points, you will receive a heart piece. If you get over 1,500, you will get a larger quiver.
-As a kid, go to the back of Lon Lon Ranch and go into the door back there. Move around the crates so that you can get to the little tunnel. Crawl through to get a heart piece.
-If you have planted a seed already in the Desert Colossus (in front of the Spirit Temple), then go on top of it as an adult. Jump onto the rock arch and grab the heart piece.
-As a kid, go along the river until you find a log sticking out in the water. Stand on the little circle on the log and take out your Ocarina. Play the "Song of Storms" and the frogs will give you a heart piece. -Play the rest of the songs to the frogs ("Zelda's Lullaby", "Saria's Song", "Epona's Song", "Sun's Song", and the "Song of Time"). Then talk to the frogs again and they will ask you to play a game. Each frog represents a certain C button and one of them represents the A button. When a fly is above a frog, play the note corresponding with it's color (try playing around the first time to learn which frog is which button). Once you complete it, they will give you a heart piece. -When you walk into Zora's River, you will see a cucco. Grab it, and take it all the way up to the entrance to Zora's Domain. With the cucco, jump off the highest ledge close to you and glide to the heart piece. -As a kid, grab the cucco again. This time, follow the same path, and after you get up the ledge by the log and turn right, and stop. Go as far as you can, and turn right. You will see a ledge with a ladder. Use the cucco to get to that ledge. Climb up the ladder and grab the cucco that is up there. Use this cucco to glide to the tall pillar with the heart piece on it.
-As a kid, go to the fishing pond (on your left as you enter). Go in and play the fishing game. If you catch a big enough fish, you will get a heart piece once you turn it in. -As an adult, go into the Lake Laboratory, as long as you have the gold scale (you receive the gold scale from the fishing pond as an adult if you catch a big enough fish). Dive in the water to the bottom. Come back up and talk to the lady, and she will give you a heart piece. -Plant a magic bean as a kid by the Laboratory. Then, as and adult, use the plant to get on top of the laboratory. Climb up the ladder to get a heart piece.
-As a kid, go to the Hyrule Market at night. Find the white dog (near the entrance of Hyrule field, behind the counter). Then have him follow you to the alley. Go into the door right in front of you, and talk to the lady. She will give you the heart piece. -As a kid, play the Bombchu Bowling. One of the times, the prize will be a heart piece. Get the bombchu in the middle three times, and you will win a heart piece! -With the lens of truth, as a kid, go to the treasure chest game at night. Play the game, and at the end, you will receive a heart piece.
-As an adult, go to Zora's Fountain. Go out into the middle of the water and equip the iron boots. Sink down, and down at the bottom will be a heart piece. -As an adult, hop across the ice chunks in the water. There is one ice chunk that has a heart piece on it.
-As a kid, light all of the torches with a Deku Stick to get a heart piece. HYRULE FIELD -Go towards the entrance to Lake Hylia. You will see four fences. Bomb in the middle of the four fences, and a secret grotto will appear. Go in to get a heart piece. -North of Lon Lon Ranch there is a secret Grotto near a tree. Bomb by one of the trees, and go in the grotto to get the heart piece. I will get a more specific location up soon (I hope)
Inside the Ice Cavern, as an adult, go inside. There is a heart piece stuck in red ice. Melt the ice with blue fire to get the heart piece.
