Gobborim or the 'Mighty men' are the elite shock unit for my infantry based Israelite army. They're stubborn, possess high weapon skills and leadership values. These abilities make it an excellent unit to spearhead an attack.
The models can be posed to either hold their shield or lean on
their shield. Notice the targets on their shields, I figured
everyone will be shooting at these guys - may as well give them
something to aim for!
| As you can see, I've used the same two
miniatures for all the models in this unit. Though
probably not very historically accurate. However, it does
make the unit stand out. My underlining reasoning is this: elite units should look like they're elite. |

The shield design is just something I made up. The models are based on metal 20mm x 20mm stands, this allows me to store the unit on a magnetic movement tray for easy transportation.
