I think it's about time I finally made a dedication to my personal favorite character of DragonBall. After many people ask me, "Who's Gohan?" It's like a knife in my heart. So everyone, read the story of the famous DragonBall character in the series.

Character Summary

1 year after the Clash of Gokou and Piccolo at the 23rd Martial Arts Tournament, Gokou has a child with his wife ChiChi. After 4 1/2 years of peaceful living, a Saiya-jin from space, claiming to be SonGokou's brother, attacks the gang at Master Kame's and he steals Gohan away. Gokou and Piccolo team up an unlikely alliance in an effort to save Gohan from the Saiya-jin, Raditz and for revenge. The three battle it out in a frenzy. The advantage that Radiz has over Gokou and Piccolo, however, is too much for the both of them. Eventually Raddiz beats and tortures Gokou. Gohan hearing his father's cries, gets enraged and shows his true powers. This is where we see Gohan's powers for the first time.

Son Gohan is Gokou's first son. He is a good natured boy and is polite to in every way. Like his father, he has a heart of Gold. But unlike his father, he does not have the passion to fight, as he explains while battling Cell. Gohan is mixed human and Saiya-jin, which makes him inherently more powerful than his father. He probably has the most potential over all of the Z Senshi to be the strongest. But because he does not want to fight all the time, he never reaches his true potential. This can prove to be a weakness for him in battle. When he first began to fight, he was trained by Piccolo who he looks up to and respects (he refers to him as Uncle.) That's why some moves have "Ma" in it, which is Japanese for "Demon" as Piccolo was once classified before the arrival of the Saiya-jins. He also dresses as him in most of the series. Such as the Namek-jin Cape and Gi, or sometimes a collar made of the material of the Gi. In the battle of Perfect Cell, He displayed power and speed more than anyone. Gohan was the first to achieve the level of going beyond the Super Saiya-jin and Ultimate Super Saiya-jin.

Masenko: Gohan powers up with his hands on top of his head, with one hand in front of the other. After the blast is powered up he places his hands forward and releases the blast.

Kamehameha: Gohan cups his hands toward his side and powers the beam up. When he is done, he thrust his hands forward and releases the beam

• The name Gohan means rice or meal in Japanese.
• Gohan, like all Saiya-jin has a tail. The Saiya-jin are alien humans born with tails and can change into giant Weremonkies when they see the light of a full moon. The Source of their true power. Gohan has it removed after the battle with Vegita. But he has changed into his monkey stage several times; and scared Piccolo-chan silly!
• Gohan was the only survivor of the Alternate future and trained Mirai no Trunks.
• Gohan displayed immense power as a child and roughed up his Saiya-jin uncle, Raditz. His power (1374) when angered was 3 times greater then his father's and Piccolo-chan's.
• Gohan is the smartest of the Z senshi. He realizes important battle moments and things before the others realize. Opposite of his dad, who is dumb as a tree.
• As a teen, Gohan becomes the Great Saiyaman (super hero) and defends Satan City from evil doers.
• It is said when Gohan is given his mystic power he was told not to change to Super Saiya-jin because if he did the immense power he would display would destroy the Earth. So he had to just power up in small intervals to stand a chance against Buu.
