Calabro Conversion

Episode I: Invasion!

Disclaimer: The following event is a fictional piece. Any similarities between names and/or situations is strictly coincidental!

It was just a typical day with in the classroom walls of English teacher, Mr. Calabro. Of course, in a small school region of two towns, one might say nothing interesting goes on, out here. But, nothing is what it seems. As we see our hero, standing tall in front of his above average class of students eagerly await, for the day’s adventure’s in learning. Mr. Calabro grinned devilishly as he shouted, “Readaround time!” Amidst the whines that filled the rooms, as Calabro strutted to his small trapezoid-shaped table and pulled out The Grade book, the most powerful item within the history of education. He closed his eyes and randomly pointed at a name on the grade book, opened up his eyes, and shouted, “Dylag, get up there, boy.”

Andrew Dylag, a highly intelligent scholar, walked up in confidence to the podium of power, with of course the best readaround ever written. Andrew slammed his paper on the podium, and began his piece of phenomenal story, that confuse the stupid, but entertain the wise. After which he completed his reading, Calabro, who of course knows all these pieces of Andrew’s are just perfect, ask for comments on Andrew’s readaround.

After a flood of comments from random scholars, with regular boring comments as good EGS, and good details, Calabro got to the good stuff. “Andrew, you had excellent vocabulary and some wonderful phrasing within the piece.” He turned his head to the class and stated, “Why can’t the rest of you meaningless people write something like that, I don’t want to hear things like how you spend your pathetic Friday nights at home watching Pokemon.”

Just then, the door burst open and three security guards walked in with stupidly blank stares, as if they have been hypnotized or something. But don’t they all look like that? They surrounded the double classroom in a triangle shape, with the point facing Calabro’s board. At that moment Mr. Farrall walks on in the room, and, with a curious look, wonder what’s going on. Thinking that it’s just a stupid student getting in trouble, he sits at his desk and begins writing out the freshman criteria for the next class. The guards, at that moment, reached behind their backs, and drew small tazers and hold then at angles as if to fire. Mr. Calabro dives under his desk and braces for the worst. A guard fires his weapon and a lightning-like blast which engulfs the students.

Sean Bastedo makes a leap and spears down that guard with several hard punches to the face, after the last hit, which was his strongest strike, on the guard’s head blew apart, leaving a green ozone secreting from the neck. Sean stares with a curious look as he is hit with a tazer from the back, and passes out on the floor and was picked up by a guard.

Then a large wave of alien beings slithered into the room with more guards, they were snake-like beings with their lower torsos being large tails as a mode of transportation, their upper bodies were humanoid with a light brown complexion. It was a fight to the finish as certain students begin destroying theses obviously clone-like guards, because strangely enough, they looked the identical, possibly from one guard! These alien beings known as the Zealots stationed themselves at the front of the room and ordered the guards, in their form of light roars and snarls, to remove all the students from the class. Calabro quickly, left his hiding spot and said, “What the hell is going on.?” Which turned the body of a Zealot with an angry rage, spat, a liquidity goo at Calabro, who sidestepped to the left and advanced to the Zealot warrior, and quoted, “Come get some!” and gave a strong, but quick right hook to the upper chest of the creature, then clasped his hands together and gave an overhead pound to the alien’s head, which cracked the head, and also secreted a green liquidy substance from the blow.

As the large party proceeded out from the room with all the students, one guard began marching towards Mr. Calabro, Just then Joe Zukoski, mysteriously made a front flip from out the window and stood facing the rest of the guards, in a rage, he couldn’t control, he began to grip his fists together and was enveloped in a blue aura, which made the floor lightly shake. It seems as though Joe was getting stronger, he spread his arms out to nearly behind him, then quickly rushed them forward to slam both wrists together and both hands formed a cup when his wrists connected, and he emitted a large, blue beam of energy- which vaporized the few guards left in the room into nothing. From the rush of power and over exertion, Joe fainted, and the aura disappeared. Calabro wondered, perhaps the arrival and contact of these aliens have somehow increased the abilities and power of the feeble humans?

Calabro got up and wondered what to do next. Well, he thought, if he was going to be facing more of these things, he better take this weapon with him. Calabro proceeded toward his desk at the resource center when he spotted a large wrapped gift on it, the card said it was something to help him on this journey ahead. Calabro quickly unwrapped the gift and behold, he saw a magnificent sword, with a golden handle and a shiny blade, in it was an old English inscription, which to Calabro’s amazement, was in perfect condition. He strapped on the sheath he found for it across his back and armed the tazer.

Mr. Calabro made his way down toward the downstairs, but he saw no classes being taught, and it seemed the school was empty. There were no guards, either. He walked over to the auditorium doors, and his eyes widened as he saw most of the student body and the aliens standing in rows, as if preparing for an invasion. Then a guard turned from across the hall and nearly saw the master of English, but he was too quick for him and ran down toward the orange locker section, but saw another patrolling guard. Out of shear anger and his love for uncut gore, unsheathed the sword and rushed, Calabro made a spinning motion as he ran and quickly beheaded the guard with a single swift stroke. The guard had no time to react was toasted. He got up and watched the cameras from the video tech room, diagonally from him in disgust. He saw a student standing and a gooey tube structure slowly descend upon him. It covered his body to his shape and lifted off him and the gooey tube descended again next to the student, which then created another, identical copy of him, amazing, Calabro stated. So that must be the story going on why these aliens are here, to clone us for them.

At that moment a noise occurred from behind Calabro, and out flipped....Andrew Dylag. The scholar had an evil look in his eye and a devilish grin, he drew a smaller sword from his side, as it ready to duel with our hero. Dylag made a rush at Calabro, who parried the stroke, the two began to duel, back and forth, at a quicken pace. Calabro wasn’t fooled, though he knew this Andrew was just a clone, Calabro struck harder after each attack, and made a quick roundhouse kick to the replicated genius, and it flattened Dylag to the wall. Dylag was pinned by the blade, terribly beaten, the clone responded, in a raspy voice, “Mercy!” The savior of our school replied, “Never!” and thirsted his mystical blade into the stomach of the clone, which then caused him to disintegrate into nothing, and all that remained, were the clone’s glasses and the sword. Calabro sheathed the mighty blade, and walked down the hall.

To find out what is the destiny of our English teacher, tune in next time for the second installment of our story, as we see Calabro fighting other clones. But wait, Is that Joe with some form of armor? and what? another Joe fighting with the other? here our hero will battle to the death over two mighty warriors. And, who’s that mysterious warrior that appears to aid Calabro against these deadly twins, Look for the next episode, “Friend or foe!”
