Calabro Conversion Part II

Episode VIII: The Legend of the Super Scholar!

After the amazing transformation which had taken place to our hero, Joe, the other Joe and Stephanie couldn’t help but look at the new golden haired, green eyed being. All little Joe could utter was “Oh my God, he is a Super Scholar, the most powerful being in high school.” Stephanie looked at him in question, “What the hell you talking about, I never heard anything like that before.”

“Well it’s a campfire story to the juniors and seniors, that a student, who surpasses an ordinary one, by incredible feats, either of wisdom, or power. This has only happened once before, that’s why people knew about this. Back in the ‘70’s, there was a wrestle who constantly trained harder then ever, he was a prized possession to the team. Upon his first defeat during a championship, he was incredibly angry at himself, from being so powerful in strength, and that anger trigger, he transformed to that powerful state. Too bad he abused this power and was ironically killed in a car accident, thinking he can stop a car, head-on, so he never understood how to control it.” replied little Joe.

All Stephanie could do for a moment was look at Joe with a confused look, she shrugged his shoulders, and with a simple, “Whatever” she walked onward past the lower orange locker bay to the front of the auditorium. Following her was the Philibuster and Zuk, who had released his new power and changed back into his former self.

Stopping in front of the Drama storage closest, Joe motioned to go into it and had stumbled upon a large prop box full of familiar material. Hanging up was Joe’s original weighted clothing with the simple Namek-jin detail. Joe has also found an orange karate “gi” with a Japanese symbol for a frog on the front which caught his eye. He put on this weighted apparel not just for protection, but it looked damn good on him. Stephanie had also found her particular outfit, but she grabbed it and some sort of wand item and ran off, with a simple “Well, I am off to find Chicky, see you boys later.”

Both Joe’s shrugged their shoulders and continued to equip themselves with more items for their adventure against the alien scumbags. In the prop box, little Joe had found his twin kitana blades and sheaths from the previous fight. Zuk had found the Nyoibo staff and sheath his clone had previously used, which he had equipped into his arsenal.

After equipping, the two began to move out to the tope floor of the school, preferably the Resource Center. “You, know Joe, it’s quiet in here, almost...too quiet for my liking.” stated little Joe after passing the upper orange locker section toward the Resource Center. Hearing a light ruckus coming from the one of the English rooms, the two Joe’s only assumed it had to be Calabro’s room, as they quickened their current pace to see what’s going on in there. In the room were three devilish like beings, ripping the room apart, looking for something. The Joe’s walked in, and shouted to these beings to get the hell of Calabro’s junk. The trio turned and formed a pose for introduction. “We are the henchmen of Maddas, you have interfered, and for that, you will all die!” shouted the middle demon.

Each creature was tinted to a certain color, one was a deep brown, another was a pale white, the middle one, was almost a rainbow tint. The Joe’s couldn’t hold a laugh as the demons spoke. “We are the Helado fighters, and we love to kill...Boy’s, introduce yourselves. The brown demon shouted, “I am Chocolate, prepare to roast.” The pale demon then said, “ I am Vanilla, and I‘m so cool, your all going to be on ice.” Then the colorful leader spoke, “...and I am Tooty-Fruity, the pleasure...will be all mine.” The Joe’s chuckled some more to the stooges introduction. “We are the Joe’s, I am Zuk and he is Philibuster, and we are hear to rock...and roll.” The demon horde smirked, teleported to around the pair and began to circle them wildly.

A flurry of punches tried to pin down our heroes. But the pair is much stronger then that, as they blocked all those speedy blows. “God, Zuk, their almost too fast, I don’t think we can land a hit” said Philibuster. “Don’t worry, we will, on the count of three make an attack directly in front of you.” Little Joe nodded and continued to block the blurry attacks. “1....2...3, NOW!” Both Joe’s tilted sideways and made a sharp elbow in front of them, each knocking, Chocolate and Vanilla out and on the ground. “Haha, you missed cape boy.” said Tooty-Fruity. “That’s it, who you calling cape boy, you fruitcake, Joe...he’s mine take out the others, ok?” answered Zuk.

Zuk flew toward the fruity demon and rammed a rough punch to his gut, Tooty-Fruity had no chance and flew toward the wall opposite the window. Zuk immediately teleported behind the flying demon, raised his clenched fist and smashed them onto his head, where he landed with a bone-cracking thud! “Hehe, your not so tough, and believe me, I am a lot stronger then this alone.” said a triumphant Zuk. “Ohh really, show me!” replied Tooty-Fruity. Joe was happy to hear that and grabbed his opponents hands, pulled him up in front of him, gave a sinister, angry look as the familiar bright golden “chi” glowed around him. The demon screamed out loud as this aura surround Zuk began to burn parts of his clothing and his bright orange sideburns. Then from his power’s peak, he let go of his opponents hands, curled his arms for a second, then released them, spreading out.

Then, Zuk burst into his transformed Super Scholar stage. The demon fell backward a little, recovering from the burning sensation. Then Zuk rammed his shoulder into the demon which smashed him out of the window and out on the landing of the high school. The bloodied up demon got up, panted heavily as Zuk crossed his arms and hovered right above him and landed. Tooty-Fruity picked up a communicator from his belt and began to say to the listen, “Listen, there is a Super Scholar like the legend states, help mee.....” He didn’t get to finish his statement as the powered up Super Scholarshouted in a roar and rushed into the demon and began to pummel his stomach and chest with fierce punches as they both flew across the landing to the end. The final blow was the strongest of all, which sent the rainbow demon into the parking lights, where he hit hard and held onto it for a few seconds. Zuk smirked as he raised his open hand and fired a large energy beam which roosted his weary opponent. “Going, going....gone!” quoted the caped hero.

Meanwhile as Zuk fought, the other Joe fought the other demons. Recovering from their hits, each began to drew flesh like swords from their thighs or shoulders. A painful process which allowed each demon to carry a set of large samurai-like swords. Both rushed from each side as Joe drew his kitana’s. Looking nervous of how to block this impossible strike, he crossed his blades in front of him to block Vanilla’s assault and prayed as his twin sheaths shielded him from Chocolate’s swords. Clink, was the sound made as Joe’s swords and sheaths blocked the duo’s attacks. Both warriors still tried to kill Joe. Still nervous from this duo, he flipped around avoiding all the strikes of the shiny metallic blades. Till he managed to back off from this pair and parried from their attacks. Finally, Philibuster blocked Vanilla’s swords, by the crossing his blades, then making a quick effort, he thrusted his blades into his stomach and out the other side. Then, releasing his swords his kicked Vanilla’s dying body away and back flipped away from Chocolate. Stretching his hands out, and a few hand motions in front of him, he shouted quickly, “Burning Attack!” and fired a huge energy beam a little larger then the spread hands . The blue beam quickly made a rough impact on Chocolate as he disintegrated into dust.

Walking over to Vanilla, he pulled his swords out, cleaned off the green oozing blood and drew them into the x formed sheaths. He disappeared from the room, to find his own way to this alien outbreak, he just wanted to leave Zuk alone, so he can find a way to be like him. Meanwhile, Zuk had seen Joe leave. He, too felt the need to fly onward, he had surveyed the Pomperaug Field and had seen that the student body and faculty had left from the bomb scare, save a pair who stood in the middle of the field, almost waiting for someone. Joe scanned closely to see the pair was none other then Caitlin and Tara, looking over, waiting for him. Joe charged his “chi,” as his blue aura flame surrounded him as he launched off the landing and flew toward them. Tune in next episode to see the new party assembled as Joe, Caitlin, Tara, and the found Calabro find the root of the invasion, next time in Episode IX: Heroes Again!
