Mr. Calabro- A modern day English teacher who is not exactly like most others. Maybe you would think his favorite movie or story should be something out of Shakespeare. But he enjoys cozy Friday nights watching Starship Troopers, and finding ways to fail Freshman. In the story, he wields a mystical sword he happened to find on his desk and uses his keen knowledge and super human abilities to get him out of trouble. As well as wit, or a smooth quote. Although he is a very important character, later on he appears whenever help is needed.

Joe Zukoski- A normal sophomore in Mr. Calabro and Mr. Farrell's English/History. Unbeknowest to him or anyone else that when he comes in contact with the alien creature which invade PHS, he is gifted with sepcial abilities of being able to manipulate his inner energy (or "chi.") Also with his super human strength he enables himself to become a worthy fighter to the cause. Even though he isn't the brightest scholar as compared to Andrew of Mike. But he is a devout protecter to his school, with the aid of his Nyoibo staff and his Namek-jin cape. Eventually he surpasses every fighter when he becomes a Super Scholar. Even more so as he surpasses to level 2, and even level 3. Truly a warrior at heart.

Andrew Dylag - By far the most intelligent student in the classroom, he is also highly charismatic. Andrew impresses many, and confounds many more, with his massive vocabulary that he applies relentlessly in his work. Surprisingly, he surpasses all with his incredible fighting skills and expert swordsmanship, probably due to his lack of concentration on the mystic arts. Even though he may not appear much in the heart of the story, his key appearances are very important and even build upon themselves when he continues his adventures in his story. Along with either Zuk or Mike Gilday or even alone, he always seems to overcome an opponent with tremendous ease and should be taken as a threat should you run afoul of his sense of morals. Also, during the travels of the Calabro Crew, Andrew was off on his own adventures; they were seperate journeys and time periods and, most importantly, in the real universe. Upon meeting the Super Scholars Zuk and Philibuster he is quoted on saying, "I hate all this mystic crap. Why don't you ignorant fools trust science or your own skills than some crazy religion?" He currently resides as a Commodore in the International Fleet, as the Commanding Officer of the IFS Intrepid, but after an encounter with an alien artifact known as the Gilded Circle on the planet of Hebronia IV, during the invasion, he has disappeared from the known universe. He is listed as MIA, along with Major James Byron, Professor William Zimmerman, and a clone turned to good, which was posing as Lt. Commander Michael Gilday.

Mike Gilday- Obviously a character of his own caliber, Mike is the most intersting of fighters. Draped in his dark trenchcoat and his chainsaw for a right hand, Mike is indeed a scary one to battle against. With his merciless pummels of buckshots from his sawed-off doubled barreled shotgun, he is feared by many both clone and friend alike. But mostly because of his shadowy appearence and his sharp eyes, intimidates all opponents. He doesn't seem to ever get along with Caitlin or her friends, but that, my friends is another story.

Caitlin Anzalone- Even though she is "just a girl" she is one not to mess with. Although most of the time when a fight breaks up, she stays on the sideline. She jumps in with her incredible healing abilites to rise out heroes back into the heat of battle. When her help is needed, she uses her powerful whip to catch all opponents off guard. Along with her good friend, Tara, both seem to be invincible as a pair. When things are down, count on Caitlin to save the day. In Calabro's class, she too is quite the bright scholar, although doesn't like to show it off as much as Andrew does, she allows her foes to be desieved into thinking she is harmless, guess again!

Tara France- Togther with Caitlin, she is concidered unstoppable with her. Although Tara may also stay mostly on the sidelines with Caitlin, she may use her incredible intelligence she recieved from the aliens and her ability to create just about any gadget when needed, she participates alot with giving the Calabro Crew, transportation and some additions to their weapons. Although she isn't in Calabro's class, she has made important appearences mostly by accident and has joined the cause to saving Pomperaug High from the impending doom it will get, unless she, as well as everyone else stops it.For her primary weapon, she uses a modified tazer as a form of protection and can be used a combo attack with Caitlin to give the extra damage, especially fighting the clones of her fellow peers.

Sean Bastedo- "Never fear, the number one God is here." A common quote used by one of the strongest members of the Calabro Crew. Using his abilities, which seem to manifest itself from the heavens. Seen as an important member for the god-like abilities he recieves, almost similar to psychic powers, like telpathy. Armed with his massive double bladed axe, he is mightier then even the pen in this case and seems to always appear when things are at their worse. Mostly seemed as a loner, because he seems to like it that way, he will join up with the Calabro Crew when it is neccessary to finish off what has been started. He may also not be as smart as Andrew or Mike, but he has it where it counts, right in his muscles and his mind.

Joe Philibert (Philibuster)- A Really close friend to Zuk and is a great fighter in swordsmanship, as well as mystics. Joe's power seems to always to rival Zuk's, when Zuk becomes the first Super Scholar, his strong intentions to be slightly better then him increase, as he too becomes a Super Scholar too. Armed with his twin Kitanna blades strapped to his back, and his love for combat, he alone is strong enough to take on many foes alone. However when the time is right and a strong opponent outdoes both Zuk and Philibuster, they can perform the "Fusion Dance." The aerobic step like dance performed, reflexively to combime both Joe's together to become Joe-squared. But, even if Joe-squared isn't strong enough, then when combining with the aid of the Potara Rings, they can become into the stronger form, JoeJoe.

Stephanie Cihal- Another close friend to Zuk. With the aid of her quick thinking and several cuts from her lightsaber, she is another valuable asset to the fight to save humanity. Although, toward the end of the sequel she undergoes a change that aids the Calabro Crew in the moment it needs, giving the two Joe's time to fuse into JoeJoe. If it wasn't for her, then the world would be doomed, she gave Joe the ignition factor to become a Super Scholar, then for Joe to become one. Had it not been for these future transformations, the Crew could have not been able to stop the New Breed. With her magic Scepter, she can cast the evil out of anybody as well as condemn other evil to the bowls of where they came from. She appears every once in a while, whenever help is needed.

Brian- Boyfriend to Caitlin and father of Richard. He doesn't seem that interested in the fight for humanity, until he finds Zuk and Philibuster can change into Super Scholars. He becomes jealous of their power and decides to attempt to find a way for him to do the same. Obviously according the the 3rd Saga, he does reach that goal. But his original intentions were for him to be better then Zuk. The hardwork he puts in to keep as strong as him, all this adds to the jealousy and sooner or later, he changes, because of the jealousy he had for Zuk's power. Eventually he gets killed by Super Joe the Strong in the alternate future, but if his son fixes the past, that will not happen. Wearning the armor of the powerful and legendary Saiya-jins, he uses it's durability to keep him free from harm!

Richard- Son of Brian and Caitlin. He appears a 1 year after the Calabro Crew return from Arlia. In his alternate future, the world is in chaos, everyone died, except him and a few others. He finds his father dead from battling super clones, thus creating the factor to allow him to change into a Super Scholar. He travels in time to stop the clones from killing everyone. Eventually he plans to return to the future a whole lot stronger and wiser. There he alone must defeat that nightmare of creations, that killed his father and everyone else. When he fights in the Room of Spirit and Time, and he battles Majin (evil) Brian, he has a deep emotional love for his father. He has bonded with him always, despite the times even when he was thrown out of the way of fighting he hesitates to hurt him, but realizes that he must, that allows him to becomes stronger. His personaility can equal the fighting spirit of his father, but the kindness and sympathy of his mother. He is amazingly strong, because he is a direct offspring of a Super Scholar and a healer. It is not known whether he can heal himself. We shall soon find out!

Brawly- The original Super Scholar and is considered legendary. One thing about the legendary Super Scholar, is that it is superior to even level 2 and maybe 3 of the Super Scholar tranformations. He is a Sophomore who vistited PHS during Summer School and met our heroes (Philibuster & Zuk.) His constant anger and regular "mood" makes him very strong. He is considered unmeriful. He uses this Super Scholar power up as a way to get what he wants. With his defeat by combined forces of our heroes, he is shown the ways of good and vows a life of justice as life is at PHS.

Pikehan- A secret project undergone by Dr. Gear, was being processed for many years in his underground lab in some unknown territory. He is of main resemblance to a certain Pokemon (Pikachu!) and posesses many of his signature attacks. His large size enables him to take on many foes as well as having strong attacks. He was defeated by the Joes after a ferious battle.

Dr. Gear- Ex-robotics insturtor at PHS. He resides in his labrotory manking weapons of destruction for his revenge. He first made Pikehan, in a hope to regain power by intimidation. But his destruction by the Joes angered the doctor. He devised a new type of android, which catored to human possibilities with natural computer AI. He found some Zealot DNA from bloodstains in the school from the first attack. Building these machines of power based off the skills of the school's toughest fighters. His current whereabouts are unknown and is assumed dead from a freak accident in his lab.

Zephlin Race- Race of superior alien creatures who crave for resourses. Having their home planet wasted of nothing, the creatures travel to planets in search for proper materials for their craft. In thanks for their recievings, the creatures create shrines in dedications to their gods for their offerings given to them. Their biggest science project is to create clones of a planet's dominating race in ways for a military force as well as disciples for their shrines. The race is divided into 3 main classes for helping the society live in balance, the Zealot, high commanding officer which manipulates the weaker forces to their bidding. They are of a tan color body. They are beings that are humanoid with carapaces and tails used as a lower torse (mode of transportation.) The Cerabrate, the middle class, similar in physical description as the Zealots, these intelligent soldiers are the backup marines of the species. They have normal legs and are tinted a dark gray. Finally, the Berserker, a crazy abomination that is the weakest and obvoiously most expendable of the whole militrary. They are humanoid shaped with dark, fleshy colored carapaces and run on 2 legs in a hunched over motion. They are incredible strong and fierece, being that they have and show little emotion in combat. They have a lot of enhance abilities, some even greater then their other broods. But they are very stupid and easily commandable. Also, if a Zephlin outdoes many in battle, it may "evolve" into a more upgrade species. A Zealot, may upgrade to a High Lord, a Cerebrate may upgrade to an OverLord and a Berserker can upgrade to an Evolved Berserker.

Bryan & Nate- Despite these characters short commings, they were indeed somewhat of a help to the cause in the first attack on PHS. Bryan being more of the protective one and Nate the practical fighter. They took on many powerful enemies and defeated most of them unharmed. Nate was not too intelligant, but a great and strong fighter and willing to risk all to get the mission done. Bryan is the smarter on and most practical of them all, no when it is best to fight!

Scott Hellriegal (Hollywood Hellriegal)- A truly unusual character. A top notch accurate soldier to the PHS when the first attack took place. Dressed in typical marin clothing (tank top and camoflage pants) he also wears an American Bandana as a sign of loyalty, that never will his country be ruled by an outside force. He is armed with Submachine Guns and even a regular Pump Shotgun at times.

Christian Barton (Chicky) - Another one of the tough girls within the Calabro Crew. Part of the class of 2003, she joins the crew as from Stephanie's request. A brilliant fighter, strongest of all the girls, and most vicious. Armed with her extending sporks, she punctures the evil hearts of all who oppose.

Kodrab - The tough Cerebrate with an attitude. Leader of his band of fellow alien friends, he was the one who opened the battle scenes of the original Calabro Conversion classroom fight. Given mental abilities during a raid, he forsees something special within his offspring that he cares nothing for. That is, until he realizes his betrayal by his fellow Zephlin. He battles Zuk and loses after a tough battle, and pleads with the young scholar to look out for his son and teach him the ways of right. He also appears when Joe dies in the special, "Hell and Back" and helps him fight the evil within.

Torokak - Son of Kodrab and berserker class Zephlin warrior. Reasonably strong as his father, he devotes himself to good as when he was found by Joe aboard the Warship, the Nelffaggar during the raid by the scholars. He helps them escape the maze like ship and supposts the scholars like his father wanted.

Calabro Clone - The original clone of Calabro during the first siege on PHS. He was unmerciful and incredibly strong, he had powers which rivaled Li Ehclud. But he was very intelligent as well as negotiable. But during the 2nd attack, something stirred inside him and he had no use to fight for the alien's cause. So he decided against them and felt his mission is to protect that, who is part of him, the original Calabro. He learned values of love, mercy, and nobility from those around him and makes him an honorable and protective fighter.

Li Ehclud -The current Ruler and leader of the Zephlin Race and Commander of the Armada of the planet Arlia. The planet was running on limited resourses and felt that they needed to conquor more planets that contained "life" and high amonts of oxygen and carbon based lifeforms. In graces of the gods, he would build temples at various points to thank and worship and praise their gods. But his corruption and manipulation was easily dealt with against the crew as he was defeated by Joe in a climatic battle.

Vechsurk - The brother to Li Ehclud and next leader after the death of his brother. A more intelligent and negotiable, rather then a military leader like his brother. He was more jealous of his brother for so much power, and was graces when it was bestowed on him. He is the most evil of the pair with his evil and cruel politcal affilitations. But his lust for his brother's ideas surged through him and he too attempted the impossible, despite the stories of the Scholars. He secretly wanted to find a Super Scholar. Stories incorporated from sightings from clones told a tale of a mysterious warrior noted for gold spikey hair with emerald eyes, with immense power. If he can control one of those, he will conquor that world.

Noxin - Admiral of the Naval Fleet for the Zephlin people. Having as much need for power and praise, he stepped up the ladder by helping the aliens regain confidence in leadership by transporting surviors of the planet's destruction to large city-sized warships, which are their new colonies. By convincing his supioers of the need for resourses and to conquor Earth as "New Arlia" astounded and was allowed to be the next plan of action. Noxin was knowledgable of the stories of the Super Scholars and found ways around them by reincarnating clones of the past into his cause to trouble them. But most of all, charming Caitlin into becoming a slave to get more information of his enemies, which in a sense, back-fired.

The Android Clones: Joe the Strong and Majin Philibuster - The evil diabolic Joe clones created by Dr. Gear's evil genious. The plan world too well, with the natural death of Zuk, and their destructive nature and violent attitudes. Dr. Gear had knowledge of the Scholars from past battles and used it against him. "Why create an army of many to stop few, but create an army of one or two destroy the few." The rage of the pair wrecked the future for many, until one youth against all took a trip to the past to change everything...
