A mercenary, true to his craft, Gafgarion assisted Delita and Ramza early on, but when the oppurtunity presented itself, he attempted to take their lives. Money and politics changed this old warrior in an almost an instant, but he went along with the small rebel band, feigning ignorance all the way, until they could be ambushed by enemy troops. He was slain shortly after his betrayal.
