This page is dedicated to my hero, the one person I look up to, he is the man called Sting (Steve James Borden). While most kids back in the 80's (1985 and up)was watching the World Wrestling Federation and the "icon" of the WWF Hulk Hogan (and even though at a time he was my favorite wrestler) I was watching the National Wrestling Alliance aka NWA, when a blonde crew cut wrestler with face paint had emerged. His name was Sting, A great athlete from Venice Beach, California (the same city Hulk Hogan came from) he amazed me and soon replaced Hogan as my favorite wrestler and became my hero and idol.

His never give up attitude and his amazing ring skills shot him to the top of the sport wrestling guys like "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, The Road Warriors, Terry Funk, Cactus Jack, Lex Luger, Rick and Scott Stiener and Hulk Hogan (a dream come true for me to see the two biggest names in the sport go at it) he made a name for himself. Soon Ted Turner Bought NWA and renamed it World Championship Wrestling aka WCW, Sting was still an unstoppable force in WCW he is "The Franchise" the only wrestler to stay in the orginazation till the end of his great career he has held several titles including the Television, United States, Tag, And World Titles as well as tons of awards such as Wrestler Of The Year, Most Popular Wrestler.

When Flair and The Horseman had jumped Sting And injured his leg back in early 1990 Sting had to have surgery on his knee and possibly may not have returned but did, and at The Great American Bash 1990 Sting won his first World title from the "Nature Boy" he has battled many wrestlers alot of them legends in the sport. Many wrestlers fear Sting due to his never say quit attitude and many of them have tried to put the Stinger out of commission but no one has been able to stop him.

Win or lose Sting always walked away with his "Little Stingers" by his side never letting us down but to Sting's many fans he is more than just a pro-wrestler, Sting enjoys working with the Make A Wish & Starlight foundations that grant wishes to critically ill children.

With his motto: "We're having fun now! Owwwwwwwww!", And his big heart it is no wonder fans young and old are drawn to him. In and out the ring he is the best, the World Heavyweight Champion, and for all the memories, the ups and downs, us "Little Stingers" have never given up as you have never given up on us, we love you for all you done Sting this one's for you "Owwwwwwwwwwwww!"
