Appearance: A katana sword with a black werewolf head howling savagely at the butt of the weapon. The "SILVER" blade is decorated with black oriental etching.

Function: This sword acts as a +2/+3 vorpal sword vs. shapechangers. One magical property of the weapon is it is very effective on shapechangers of any kind but primarly were's. Against such creatures it has the ability to chop off whole limbs with relative ease. Against normal opponants this sword severes on a hit roll of 18 or better. Against lycanthropes, druids*, mages*, or any other shapechanging creature the sword severs on a 17 or better die roll.

Additionally this sword can be used to cast the fifth level wizard spell dimension door upon command by the wielder once per day. Optionally this spell may be used while slashing an opponant to cause an extra D12 damage if a saving throw vs. spell is failed.
