FORUM Union of Lost Souls© Disclaimer Please Note: There is often more than one way to do something in Rhydin. These are just the ways that I gave seen In my experience here. I never claimed to know EVERYTHING about RP. These are just the ways I have seen that are most often honored by other RPer's. How to AA Disclaimer There are several different methods to do an AA. This is just the one specific way that I learned to do it. Some Forums may not accept this style, but I have discovered that it is a widely used method. Performing an AA "AA= Assassination Attempt" Once you have an assassin regulation number with a forum, AND a REGULATED contract, you locate your target and enter the room. You have the option to go straight into an AA, but it is usually wiser to watch the room for possable interferance before making the AA. Once you are ready to start, You MUST state the following OOC: Open an AA Log State Forum State that you are performing an AA State Target Date and Time State your Assassin Regulation Number State the contract regulation number Once this is established, the target will do one of two things. They may accept their fate, and allow you to continue with the AA, Or they may state that they do not accept your forum's style, And walk away. If you continue, the next step is: State OOC for the target to roll perception ((2d20)) If they roll an HP value of 2 or higher, The Assassin is spotted. At this point, the assassin has two options; They may try to escape from being attacked by Making an "Escape attempt" ((Assassin rolls 2d20)) If the assassin rolls HP value of 2, They may escape quietly without further altercation. Now, if the assassin is spotted, And the escape attempt fails, The AA becomes a DM. ((At this point, you would refer to sparring.)) Now, if the perception roll is below a 2 HP value, Then the assassin may walk right up to the target and make the fatal move: To do this, you simply type an action/attack that would logically result in death. At which point, the assassin rolls accordingly. 2d are used Number of sides depends on the target's Status. 20 for Mortals 30 for Halfies 40 for Immortals If the HP value of the roll is high enough, the AA is a success. At which point, the target is now legally dead. The Assassin closes the log, and sends it to the forum heads to be sent to the proper contacts. And their job is then complete. Please Note: The target has 24 hours, Mun Time to recieve a rezz. If they do not have a rezz in time, by Rhydin law, they are to delete their SN, and the character officially exists no more. If they DO get a rezz in time, They must send the log to the assassin that killed them. If the assassin recieves a rezz log, it DOES NOT mean that the char is once again an open target. Another AA contract with a new number would be required. The rezz log is simply for the assassin to send to their forum heads, So they can prove that the AA'd char is still alive. THIS IS CALLED "FAIR PLAY" IT'S THE RULES OF RP. DEAL WITH IT! Back to the UoLS Home Page:
