- The Tyran's Cove Role Playing Game takes
place on the Talk City chat server.
Therefore, you MUST obey the standards
of conduct set forth by Talk City. Please

- The House of Grim is a clan in the Tyran's
Cove Role Playing Game. Therefore, you
MUST obey the game rules which appear
on the Tyran's Cove webpage. Please visit:
- Only members who are legally part of the
House of Grim family can bare the "HG" cest.
You are only a legal member when the High
Council, Lord, and Lady have all agreed to
have you (See the "Join The Family" page for
more detail). Those caught baring a false
"HG" crest will be warned ONCE to
remove them. If, after a warning, the false
"HG" crest is still bared, a KOS (Kill on
Sight) will be placed on your head.
- The House of Grim is a family, not a clan.
Everyone in our family is equal. However,
respect MUST be shown to one another,
most importantly to the Lord and Lady.
- You MUST always stand side by side
with your family. NEVER go against
your family in anyway. A problem between
family members should be brought to the Lord
and Lady where it will be resolved peacefully
and with class and respect.
- OOC and IC (Out of Character and In
Character): Members of the House of Grim
family are asked to refrain from going OOC
while in the game rooms. If you must go OOC
in a game room, you MUST state to the
room that you are OOC and state you are IC
when you return to playing your character.
If you can please take all OOC conversations
into whisper or into the House of Grim's OOC
room. Please define when you are OOC by typing ALL OOC statements in (( ))'s.
- Please refrain from playing more than one
"HG" character as much as possible. Many
times a player may role play with more than
one "HG" character, which is ok, so long as
equal time is devoted to all your nics.
However you CANNOT play more than
three characters in "HG" unless given direct
permission from the Lord and Lady of the
family. If you are in HG and wish to have another character, you must first inform the Lord and Lady of your new character's name and Email address.
- Character Seperation is a MUST in the
House of Grim family. Please visit the
Tyran's Cove webpage for the meaning of
Character Seperation.
- You MUST always properly greet your
fellow family members when they enter the
room, most importantly those of higher rank
than yourself.
- Members of the family MUST be online
frequently with their "HG" character(s).
Inactive "HG" members will be warned
ONCE being asked to start coming
online with their nics. If, after the
warning, they fail to appear online, their
nic will be dropped from status in "HG".
Only active nics will be allowed to remain a
part of our family. If for some reason you
cannot be online much, please speak with the
Lord and Lady so an agreement can be reached.
- A member of our family should NEVER
attack or disrespect a member of a family we
ally with.
- A meeting wil be held every Sunday night in
which the family MUST attend. Of
course, you do not have to be at every
meeting, but you must appear at as many as
possible to show you are trying. The
meetings will be at 10:00 p.m. est. time every
Sunday night and will be used for the family
to get to know one another better, to dicuss
issues presently facing the family, special
ceremonies (Such as Knightings and other
special ocassions), and for great use of role
play.
- I urge that the family get to know each other
better OOC but please be sure to obey the OOC
and IC rules mentioned above.

Failure to follow the rules mentioned on this
page and the rules mentioned on Tyran's Cove
webpage can and will result in punishment
passed down by the Lord and Lady of the
family. Punishment will depend on how severe
a crime is.
