the strength of her first single, 'A Thousand Miles' -- which was picked
up by radio stations and MTV several weeks prior to the album's release --
her debut album, 'Be Not Nobody' hit the 5th spot on the Billboard 200
album chart in the week of its April 2002 release. Not satisfied with pop
stardom, Vanessa will pursue her education at Columbia University and is
continuing to dance, but this time, solely for herself. |
