Esta gira Latinoamericana puede describirse como "muchos fans y muchos problemas", ya que Queen tuvo que suspender dos conciertos en Venezuela por la muerte del Presidente del país. El recital del 8/3/1981 en Buenos Aires fue presentado por Maradona. En 1982 comenzó la guerra de las Malvinas y Queen no tuvo otra chance para volver a nuestro país.
