Catholic Film Club

Don’t get scared away yet!! We aren’t going to be sitting around watching History Channel documentaries about the Dead Sea Scrolls or anything like that (not that there’s anything wrong with that. . . :) ). These films are bona fide good movies from anyone’s point of view that just happen to promote Catholic morals and values and have a lot to teach anyone who watches them. Come join us as we watch God’s message shine in beautiful, sometimes subtle, ways through the art of film!

Date: First Friday of Every Month (please check back on this website for any possible changes to

this schedule that may result from conflicting events)

Time: 8:30pm

Where: Newman basement

Popcorn and soda will be provided!

November 7, 2003: A Man for All Seasons

A beautiful Oscar-winning film (back in the day when it wasn’t a bad thing to be Catholic!) about the life and martyrdom of Sir Thomas More. Watch a magnificent portrayal of the character and conscience of this wonderful saint.
