Best Friend Hugs

When you are feeling so all alone, sad or blue
And you feel like everyone has forgotten you

When you feel life pulling you apart
When you feel that familiar ache in your heart

You need someone to assure you it’ll be okay
Someone who will tell you "I’m here to stay"

A shoulder to lean on and cry some tears
Someone who has been there through all these years

Someone to love you no matter what you do
Someone to be compassionate, faithful and true

Someone to share a smile, a note a simple embrace
Someone who will walk with you at your pace

Someone to wrap their arms around you
Someone to always be there with a heart so true

Someone who will tell you I am here to the end
Someone you can always call Best Friend.
