Summer 2002
Well, summer is coming to a close and what a summer it has been! (As of Aug. 26th...) After a winter that never seemed to want to end... we began having record breaking highs, often into the low hundreds! Some of you in AZ and NC might think, "So...?" but here in MT that's a big deal! Five days after school got out (June 13th), Matthew headed off to New York for 30 days. A week after that (June 20th), Johnny headed off to Germany for 6 weeks. That same night, Angie began working with Aaron at his second job at Service Master. That was a BUSY 3 weeks until Matthew got home July 13th. July 14th and 15th were spent camping with our friends the O'Deas, and the 17th, Angie and Matthew headed off to Arizona to visit "Aunt Suzette" in Scottsdale, and to visit Grandpa Levesque, Aunt Tiffany and friends in Tucson. Aaron spent the two weeks prior to July 19th finishing up working at Kari Dodge and getting ready to "relocate" to Loren's Auto in Kalispell. He would no longer be "turning wrenches", but would become a Service Writer. He started there July 22nd, the night Angie and Matthew returned from AZ. Aaron, Angie and Matthew spent a fun night at the KOA in Missoula the night before Johnny got back, and a fun day at the mall and other shops there. Early Aug. was spent re-adjusting to life with the kids home! *GRIN* We also spent a weekend camping with our friends the DeMotts. We wanted a way to end the summer with a bang, so we spent the last Saturday before school starts at Big Sky Waterpark. 7 1/2 hours in the sun, riding all the slides. We had a great time! We love to do fun and spontaneous things! (Did I mention the Sunday before Matthew left, we wanted to go see a movie... so we decided to go see it in Spokane!?!) We weren't quite ready to let summer end and wanted to get away for Labor Day Weekend, so we spent it camping in Missoula Montana. Check out all the fun we had!
