About Me: My bikes-Racing-Wrecks

When I first started getting into riding, it was becuase my friend had a little Honda z50, and we rode that bike 24/7. So soon my dad bought me a small Yamaha pw50, except for i broke that in 2 months and my dad bought me a pw80. That bike was cool to play around with and i ended up getting too big for it and started to bottom out the shocks when i jumped small jumps. I ended up with a 96' Kawasaki kx80. my kx80 when i first got it

There was nothing wrong with it at all, cause some little dork had it before me and got scared of it after one ride. I started getting into riding a lot more and kept getting better and better on it. Soon i started racing it and doing the points series at the local tracks-Calhoun, Bremen, Tunnelhill. That's when it started getting really competitive, cause my friend-Jordan, and my cousin Brady were in the same racing class. We never missed a points series race, constantly trying to beat each other.

Me, Andrew, Brady-the top three series winners

I did ok in the series, I ended up getting 3rd place over all-which is cool with me. I sold that bike right after and ended up getting a 97' Kawasaki kx125. I was small as crap when i started riding that, which made it a little difficult. I have been racing that bike ever since. I've had some bad wrecks on my kx125 and spent some time/money fixing it.

Bad Wreck: One time when I was racing up at Calhoun, I was going through the rhythm section and a guy in front of me wrecked and landed in my line, it was too late for me to do anything. I landed on the guy and his dirtbike and my bike stopped there, but I went over the handlebars. I ended up doing a front flip over the handle bars and landed on my head. It hurt like crazy, but i got up and picked my dirtbike off of his and kept racing. Later on I looked at my bike and saw that i had ripped my seat cover, bent my front disc brake, and bent my front fender, and bent my handlebars. That really sucked, so I got all that taken care of.

Another Bad Wreck: I was racing at the Bremen track and on the last lap, in a good position-3rd, when I messed it all up in one turn. It was in a fast turn going around the back loop, and I had the throttle pinned, except for my back end started slipping out from under me. I thought I was just going to slide out going fast, but the bike flipped back the other way and I did a big face plant. My right leg caught one end of the handlebars and nailed my inner leg(thank god it didn't hurt the delicate area below the belt)which left a huge bruise. I hurt some other stuff, I cant remember which, other than my collar bone.

I recently had to do some work on my bike, some was because of wrecks, the others just broke-I had to replace the water pump seal, the oil seal, and gasket in the motor, and had to take my radiator off to send to Utah to get it fixed("Mylers-we can fix it radiators"-good place to get your radiator fixed)

BEST PLACE TO GET YOUR BIKE WORKED ON: LAYTON SUZUKI

Layton Suzuki has the best mechanic-Jim(Ezra Lusk's old mechanic)and a really cool owner-John, and another cool salesmen-Scott. I'm probably going to be buying a 2001 Suzuki rm125 when they come out this fall.
