Death of K. B. Loveless

Mrs. Katherine B. Loveless, mother of Mrs. Geo. E. Pierce of this city,
died at her home in El Dorado Monday last at the age of 76 years, 11 months and 14 days.
Mrs. Loveless suffered a stroke of paralysis about two years ago and has
failed in health ever since.

She was the widow of P. J. Loveless, and besides the one named,
she leaves two other daughters,Mrs. Maud A. Crocker of Oakland
and Mrs. Mollie I. Page of El Dorado, and three sons, John E.,
Polk J. and Lee Loveless, all of El Dorado to mourn the death and
cherish the memory of a devoted mother. Ross, Hugh and Guy
Pierce and Eva Page are grandchildren, and Mrs. T. C. Atwood,
Ed., Tom and Roy Galt are niece and nephews of the deceased.
Mrs. G. W. Pierce, who was formerly Miss Susie Gilmore, another niece
of Mrs. Loveless was here to attend the funeral which occurred
on Wednesday from the home in El Dorado and was private, the simple service
being perforned by Rev. E. J. Bradner.

Those serving as pall bearers were Wm. Yeadon, Lewis Smith, Brad Hammell, Calhoun Foster,
Geo. Moore and Jas. Askew. Besides those mentioned, the relatives present were her
sisters Mrs. Mary Vaughn and Miss Jennie Gray, and brother
A. A. Gray, also Julia, George, Sidney and Jeff Gray, Elmore Roussin,
Mrs. Inez Harper, Mrs. W. O. Pierce, Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Bosquit, Mrs. Lee Loveless,
Miss Fay Loveless, T. C. Atwood.
